The irregular Grimm At Magic Highschool

I stayed at the same house, which was infected Rodrick's safe house. Since Rodrick had to return to USNA, he let me stay there.

Shiori-san was an apothecary, who runs a spice shop down the street (shocking). Her house was also right above her spice shop. I visited her place everysay, for one month, since I didn't know how to cook.

After that, I started cooking my own food. And Rodrick gave me one of his debit cards to use. Although the money in that account was no way small amount, he still asked me spend in moderation, or else he would make me work to the bone in order to return the money.

In the past few months, Shiori-san had arranged a new identity for me in Japan as a Japanese citizen. She also explained to me the structure of the current wesen-grimm society and the concentration of powers.

It's not that I got all of this for free. Rodrick made me join his organization, called the Hadrian's Wall. It was my biggest alliance of the Grimm and wesen which spread it's influence throughout the world, making it one of the most powerful organization in the wesen-grimm community.

I was to work under them right after I finished my schooling, since my current age was only 15. Though I didn't feel good about working under some organization I had no clue about, I really needed a strong backer on this unknown world. I just needed to grow stronger as much as possible before I would have to world for them so as to not to be supressed.

And currently I was in a cabinet (taxis in the mahouka world), wearing my brand new uniform, on my way to Magic University affiliated First Highschool, aka First High.

After months memorization and ton of combat training under Shiori-san (who was surprisingly fierce in magic training), I was able to get into First high, as a course 1 student no less.

After a few minutes, I finally arrived at the front gate of the prestigious First high.

I took a deep breath, and took my first in the campus as a freshman student. The next three years of my life here would decide my future

As I walked in, I saw a student, probably a senior. Seeing his uniform, I was able to discern him as a course 1 student. Seeing his armband, I could tell he was a public morals committee member.

I approached him from behind, seeing him glance towards the other side, and greeted, "Good morning Senpai".

Due to my sudden approach, the senior jumped, and distanced himself. His gaze was sharp and his hand was already near his CAD. He looked like he would attack anything that moves

Seeing his reaction, I mentally facepalmed. I was hiding my presence!

After I got a handle on all my skills drilled into my brain by that wierd system, it almost became a second nature. Even as I walk casually, my senses were spread throughout the area, while my own presence was greatly hidden. Unless my opponent was especially sensitive, or was Tatsuya, I was confident that I could hide myself.

"Sorry for sneaking in like that. I didn't mean. To startle you", I bowed down, scratching my head. "I am Uchiha Obito. I was asked to meet president Saegusa Mayumi"

Seeing me bow and apologize, my senior eased out and chuckled. "no need to apologize. I was probably to tense", he lied to make me feel comfortable. "As for the president, let me show you the way. I am Sawaki"

I remembered who he was. Considering there are only a few members in the public morals committee, I remembered who he was. He was Sawaki Midori. One of his key trait is that he doesn't like to be called his first name.

I didn't recognize him since he was no longer a 2D character. He was in flesh and my first anime character encounter so far.

"Thank you very much, Sawaki-senpai!", I grinned.

Following him, sharing a small chat, we finally reached a auditorium building. There, Sawaki senpai lead me to the back stage.

As we walked, I sensed a presence approach us from behind.

I slowly turned around to see who it was, but on seeing, my step came to a hault.

It was a girl. A beautiful one at that. She had long black hair, clear ruby eyes, small stature yet mature aura. Even if she wasn't a 2D character anymore, ain't noway I wouldn't recognize who it was.

"Ara~, I didn't expect to be noticed so easily", she smiled and tilted her head.

By now, Sawaki-senpai also turned around. Seeing the person who just spoke, he greeted, "President saegusa"

"Konnichiwa, sawaki-kun. I see you got company", she said, last part directed at me. This brought me back to my senses.

"Nice to meet you, Saegusa senpai, I am Uchiha Obito. I was asked to meet you", I greeted.

"Oh, so you're one of the top scorers of the entrance exam", she said with a mild surprise.

This was something I didn't feel deserved. And yes, I was one of the top scorers. It was more like cheating if you ask me.

With the help of my sharingan, I memorized all the portions for the written test. This boost of confidence urged me to answer all my entrance questions correctly. But in the end, out of guilt, I decided to leave out a few answers, causing my mark to be just below the number one.

As for the practical, I kinda used it as an experiment ground. It wasn't anything that would go BOOM, but it resulted in my magic activation time to be quite, no, extremely fast. You should see the supervisor's face when he saw my scores. His eyes nearly popped out!

But I decided to pull back in the later tests.

As a result, in over all ranking, I was number 1, much to my despair.

And that came back to bite because I just remembered a minor detail from the story.

"I was just lucky", I said, scratching my head in embarrassment. I wasn't trying to be humble, but that's how I truly felt!

"No need to undervalue your effort", president Saegusa smiled graciously. But soon that smile turned into a mischievous smile.

"Are you ready with your welcome speech?",

Hearing this, I took a step back, raising my hand, "I would have to decline. I am not good at these stuff", I rejected immediately.

"Are you sure? Being the student representative is quite the honor", this time Sawaki-senpai spoke.

"Then that's an honour I'd gladly refuse", I said, my forehead was filled with sweatdrops. "Though, I turn down the honor of joining the student council", I joked.

"And here I thought you were the humble kind", Saegusa senpai replied.

The three of us had a light laugh, then Saegusa senpai spoke again, "Looks like its your lucky day, Uchiha-kun"

"I get to join the student council already?"

"Nope", Saegusa senpai denied it mercilessly, yet smiling. "instead, we have another student who is ready to be the student representative"

"Oh, I am tied with someone else for the first place?", I asked, letting out a sigh of relief. I already knew who it would be.

"Yes you are. Her name is Shiba Miyuki. Her practical scores are same as you", Saegusa-senpai replied

Although I guessed it, I was still surprised that she was able to tie with me. Even if a held back a bit on other few test, it wasn't noteworthy. And my activation time was freakishly small. For her to tie with me despite not being her full strength showed just how monstrous she was.

"Is that so? That's great!", I smiled heartily. "In that case, I will find myself a seat among the audience".

Translation to that sentence is, I don't wanna be anywhere near the stage.

"Are you sure? You haven't even met her"

"I still have plenty of time", I said. "it was nice meeting you, Saegusa-Senpai, Sawaki-senpai", I greeted and walked away.

I am sure they maybe thinking I have stage-fright or something. But I didn't.

I just didn't wanna stir up a panic on the very first day.
