38: The Fairy Godmother Resolves the Soul-Exchange Conflict

I can sense wandering souls around me and some spirits. They just could not approach me directly because of Cosmo. They were scared of the odd familiar guarding me. Momo, on the other hand, was busy making friends with the ghosts there.

"Why did you bring that umbrella?

I looked at him smilingly. "The best kind of weapon is always the one that does not appear as a weapon."

With just one warning look from him, she stepped back and calmed herself down.

"Girls, behave yourselves. We're here to fix everything," mahinahong sabi ko sa kanila.

I smiled silently because I was glad that she came.

Yvonne corrected, "No, you're here to grant me my wish."

"Of course," I retorted with a smile.

"Good."

"I can channel my spiritual powers through this umbrella to send you off to the Light and move on. Any last words?"

"I am sorry," mahinang tugon ni Janine.

"How about you, Yvonne?"

"Rest in peace, Janine. This is no place for you anymore."

The tip of my umbrella emitted a light. I used the mysterious art on this earlier to make it an instrument wherein I could channel my spiritual powers. As a supernatural priestess and an exorcist, I can open a portal to lead souls to the Light and move on. From there, the ferryman of the underworld will sail them to the Afterlife. Aside from that, I can also channel the spiritual weapons I could make here. The best part, of course, is that hindi mahahalatang armas pala ito.
