Namae turned around only to see Eiji's assistant.

"The young master is waiting for you." Nathan said.

"Ah... Right."

'That was quicker than I expected.'

"Please follow me."

Namae snapped out of it and followed him.

There was a car parked outside the cafe.

'Wow. Luxurious car.'

Nathan opened the car door and beckoned Namae to go inside.

"Oh, right. I'm supposed to go inside. Haha."

Namae embarrassedly scratched her cheek and went inside the car.

"What took you so long?" Eiji complained.

"HOLY MOTHER MARY-!"

Namae's soul almost gave up after hearing Eiji's voice. She had no idea that he was also in the car.

Eiji raised a brow as he saw her reaction.

"Damn, you surprised me there. Sir." Namae sighed as she leaned back to calm herself.

"Nathan. Start driving."

"Yes, young master."

Nathan started the engine and drove.

Namae went quiet as soon as the drive started.

It was quiet and awkward.

Namae only showed up here because she was concerned about the adorable child and maybe, she'll have something in return.

Though she expected less of that something. But still, she was expecting something in return. Just a little bit.

Meanwhile, Eiji kept staring at her.

*Gulp*

'My face is going to have holes if he keeps doing this.'

Namae felt his stare ever since the car started running.

On the other hand, Eiji was thinking about sort of things.

'Seriously, this woman was my wife. Does she not remember anything?'

He looked at her from head to toe.

'She hasn't changed.'

Eiji's lips crept upwards a bit as he thought about her.

At that moment, Namae caught him grinning.

'He's grinning! What the heck!! That's creepy!' Namae deviated her gaze from him and looked outside the window.

The Namae in his memories was money-obsessed and avaricious. But that was her redeeming point.

It was that greedy character that they came to fall in love with.

Eiji marrowed his eyebrows.

Right. He was not the only one who fell in love with her.

There were other three aside from him who fell hard for Namae.

Thinking about it only made Eiji feel annoyed.
