❀Planning Rae's Rescue❀

𝙶𝚑𝚘𝚜𝚝𝚢'𝚜 𝙿𝚘𝚟:

When the cell door opened, we all walked out.

Once I was out, Rae ran up to me and trapped me in a hug. I heard him whisper, "Is this okay?" I heard him whisper in my ear. In response, I wrapped my arms around him.

"I love you, love" I whispered back.

Before he could respond, Jamie, Athena and I were teleported to the portal, which the three of us were then pushed through.

The three of us spawned in the stronghold within seconds. As soon as we did, I ran straight to the portal room in hope that the portal was still open, but it wasn't.

Seconds later, four pairs of arms were wrapped around me. It calmed me down for a couple seconds, but then reminded me of Rae. This only causing tears to aggressively fall from my eyes.

"Hey, it's going to be okay, Ghosty, we're going to get Rae out" I heard a woman's voice say. I instantly knew it was Momboo.

"My mom's right you know, we will get Rae back, no longer how long it takes" Jamie piped up.

"I hope so" I sighed through my tears.

"I guess we should start planning then" I heard another voice say. It was Will.

"Let's get Doc back" I heard Athena cheer.

I was glad that they were here, it cheered me up slightly. However, it wasn't enough to hide the fact that I was worried about my boyfriend and already missed him.

Once I had gotten myself together a bit more, we all agreed to start planning ways of getting Rae back.

"What if we make a deal with Enderian?" Momboo suggested.

"None of us know how to summon her, so how would we make a deal with her?" Athena pointed out.

"We could always try the mind medicine" Jamie stated.

"That would most likely end in disaster" I pointed out.

"What if we all sneak in when Centross enters the End? That way once we are in we can split up and search for Rae, when we find him, we can wait for Centross to head back to the other world and enter the portal then" Will stated.

"What if Enderian expects it though?" I asked.

"Why would she? She has no reason to know anything about it" Will explained.

"I saw her near the portal after me and Jamie were pushed through by Centross, she was waiting there for him" Athena stated.

"That would mean that she most likely waits near the portal every time she has a meeting with Centross, well ever since Orchid first escaped the End" Jamie queried.

"That would make sense as that way she knows who enters and leaves the End every time the portal is open" I concluded. It seemed like the only logical reason.

"Wait, back to the idea of making a deal with Enderian. Before Jamie and I were pushed into the end, I came across Rae's copy of the Bible of the End. It has the summoning ritual in" Athena stated as she pulled the book out of their inventory.

"What deal would we make though?" Momboo questioned.

"I have no idea," Athena sighed, "but at least we have a way of summoning Enderian."

"True, true" Momboo replied.

"We should all probably get some sleep, we can plan some more tomorrow" Will suggested.

Everyone nodded and all started to head back to the Auspicious Boone base. Meanwhile, I didn't move a muscle and remained where I was sitting.

"You coming Ghosty?" Jamie asked, noticing I hadn't moved.

"No, I think I'm going to stay here a bit longer," I replied, looking at the floor.

"Okay but do try to get some sleep at some point, for Rae's sake I don't think he would like it if he found out that you hadn't slept while he was stuck in the End" Jamie said.

"I know, I'll try at some point " I mumbled in reply accompanied by a small nod.

Somewhat happy with the response, Jamie made their way out of the portal room, leaving me alone with my thoughts as I sat down on the cold stone brick floor.

Call me clingy, but I really wanted to get Rae back as soon as possible. He makes me feel safe and helps me sleep at night. He's always been there for me ever since we first met, even though it wasn't the best conditions that we met in.

I miss him, I really did. I missed his laugh. I missed his smile. I missed his hugs. I missed his personality. I missed everything that made me fall in love with him.

Everything that has happened only made me hate Enderian more.

Sure she's Rae's mother, but she's been a terrible one ever since she's found out. If she wanted to make it up to him like she claims to do, then she should just let Rae be free to be whereever he wants to be.

I could only imagine what was currently going through my boyfriend's head in the other dimension. Hopefully he is also trying to work out a way of escaping.

Before long, I found myself falling asleep where I was sitting. However, it was accompanied by a nightmare.
