Finley's P.O.V

Luke came home at midnight.

I know this because he came home loudly, banging into things  then he missed his door and entered mine, falling on me.

"Luke," I groaned, pushing him off of me. "Get off."

"Oops," he giggled, rolling off my bed and landing on the floor with a loud thump; I winced, hoping that it didn't wake up Mom and Dad.

"Luke, what's wrong with you?" I squinted through the darkness, trying to see what was wrong with him.

Then the smell it hit me.

I groaned. "Are you drunk?"

"Maybe," he giggled, pulling himself up and flopping on my bed again.

He pulled me to his chest and hugged me really tight, which was a bit strange. Luke never liked to give me hugs; he was more of the fist bump kind of guy.

"Um," I said awkwardly. "Are you okay?"

"No," Luke said sadly. "I'm not okay, and I'm sowwy, very very sowwy, my wittle sister."

Okay, after dating Eli for a while, I've seen some strange things but this one tops them all.

"Why are you not okay?" I asked.

Luke held me tighter and pulled so my head was against his chest. I made a muffled sound of protest; his shirt smelled like beer and it was slightly damp. I don't want to know why.

"I miss her," he whined, sounding like a two year old. "I just saw her but I miss her."

"Allie?" I asked, completely and utterly confused.

"Where?" he asked, sitting bolt upright and dropping me so my face collided with my pillow. Luckily, it was soft. "Where's my sassy Allie?"

"Probably in her apartment," I said, putting my hands on the side of my head and pushing so I was placed like a seal on my bed.

Luke slumped down again, knocking my elbow in and making me fall again.

"I want her," he moaned. "But not like... I don't even want to bang her I just want to hold her."

"What happened?" I asked, suddenly aware that something was very very wrong with my brother.

"She left me!" he shouted, finally revealing the reason of why he was drunk and acting like a lunatic.

"Oh," I said softly. "Why?"

"Well, I left her too, we left each other," Luke explained, sniffing.

"Oh, right," I said, even though that made absolutely no

sense.

It was mutual," Luke said and it was like a light bulb went on over my head; I understood. "She was scared and I was angry so we both decided to go on our own. But I miss herrrr," he whined.

Then my brother did something I had never seen him do.

He cried.

He cried like a little baby, the tears pouring down his face like a waterfall. It made me think that perhaps it wasn't as mutual as he claimed.

"I love her," he sobbed. "I love her so... much. She's my girl."

I patted his back awkwardly. I don't know how to deal with a drunk and sad Luke.

"Its my fault," Luke muttered. "All my fault."

"That's not true," I said instantly, but I knew that yeah, it kind of was Luke's fault.
