CHAPTER 16

Kayden's POV

The crowd cheer again after all the candidates were done with their runway walk.

There were 6 total candidates waearing their creative costume— A recycled material dress for the objective of the event.

Nagulat ako sa set up ng venue dahil halatang pinaghandaan nila. I misjudged it earlier ,  the designers really did a great j*b. Dahil dun ay napako muna ang atensyon ko sa patimpalak .

Hinahanda na ang unang tanong sa mga bata. Sinuri ko ang bawat suot ng mga kandidata at kung gaano kagaling ang pagkakagawa nito — mula sa tuyong dahon , mga plastic at istro ay hindi mo mapapalagay na magagamit pala iyon para makagawa ng isang magandang bagay.

I was enchanted with their costumes when someone  approached and whispered me something.

“ Sir , yung isa pong batang maliit kamukha niyo. Pareho kayo ng kulay ng mata. Lila ” said one of the judge near at my sit.

And I did notice that. Is this little girl half american like me?

I was interrupted when the hosts fired the first question.

“ What little thing you can atleast do to save our mother nature ”.

“ Plant trees ”  Candidate 01.

“ Don't throw garbage anywhere ” Candidate 03

“ Throw pieces of paper at the proper trash bin ” Candidate 05.

Halos magkapareho lang ang sagot nilang lahat maliban sa huling kandidata.

The girl— that I somehow feel little connection after glazing at her for how many times.

That violet eyes that is similar to me.

“ Educate people po. Nowadays the problem here is not the environment anymore,  but the human being. If we want to breathe fresh air , view green sceneries let's learn to discipline ourselves.That is the least thing we could do for our  ecosystem , so that our mother nature could faint a beautiful smile , far from the threat sorrow of  typhoons and thunder .”
