Fioree's POV
“Get ready for the next activity, 'will have tree planting with the Mayor here.” my manager reminded me again for our next agenda after the pageant.
She was with the event organizer this early morning and helping the venue for today.
So I do my usual routine and leave my suite and proceeded to the dressing room they just set-up here at the mini-hotel located a bit far away from the event yesterday.
I sat up and both of my hairstylists and make up artists exhange works and do their ritual to me.
A half of an hour when I'm having my final touch to my look when suddenly Kayden's Manager showed up.
“Where is Kayden , Is she still asleep? Come on,wake her up.We're about to go to our next project.” I said while my eyes are still fixated in the vanity mirror.
But strangely,the manager didn't give any response so I signaled my make up stylist to stop for a while and convert ny attention fully to him.
The mid 30's guy with his long sleeves and pants is sweating like there's something wrong happening.
“What is it?
“And.....
—Where is the manager? ” I said a bit worried when I notice that it's not the manager but the assistant.
“ S-si Kayden po...”
“ And what about him?Go wake him up! The event organizer will be on her way with my manager.” I said irritatedly.
“ P-pinauwi niya po kasi yung manager niya.Hinanap ko din po kanina pero hindi ko siya nahanap , kaya't tinawagan ko nalang ho. Dun ko po nalaman na sabi niya'y pinauwi po siya ni Kayden kasi hindi daw siya tutuloy sa project—
Halos magulat ang lahat nang biglaan ko nalang ihampas ang kamay ko sa maliit na mesa ng tukador at hinarap ang emplayo ni Kayden.
“Then why are you here!! Go to your freaking boss and tell why would he cancel it!” halos tumulo na ang pawis sa gilid ng noo ko kahit naka air-conditioner sa loob dahil sa sobrang inis.
“ No, Ako nalang. I'll go to his room—
“ MA'AM , YUN NGA RIN PO ANG PROBLEMA.NAWAWALA DIN PO SI SIR KAYDEN.” what made me shut up is when he said those words straight after closing his eyes.
Halos manghina ako sa narinig, this is not what I'm thinking right?
Buti nalang ay naka-alalay ang make up stylist ko sa likod.
My tears we're like on a race , rapidly falling from my eyes after I absorbed his words.
“Go find him anywhere, All of you !!! Or else lahat kayo tatanggalan ko ng trabaho!” hinawi ko ang mga kamay na nakahawak sa'kin at dinuro sila isa-isa.
Agad naman silang nagsikilos at umalis sa dressing room.
While me on the other hand , cannot hide how stressed I am.
Humarap ako sa salamin at padabog kong tinapon ang lahat ng gamit sa mesa.
“ This bitch don't even know her place!” sinabunotan ko ang sarili out of my frustration.
“Bakit pa ba nagtatagpo ang landas ninyo!”
As I was catching my breath, I look up to the mirror with my reflection.
Imagining that's her infront of me.
“'Wag kang maghintay na umabot pa'ko sa dahas, Marforie. You won't like it I swear .”
