Welcome to my nightmare.

I watched my world go down in flames

a strangled cry as I screamed your name

hoping you were alive and okay

didn't want to hear the words they'd say

heard the beeping of the monitor, three, two, one,

I looked at you from above and hoped your time wasn't done

because I couldn't live without you

couldn't find a love as true

as yours, I only wanted yours

no matter how the fire roars

I prayed to God that'd you'd be fine

I heard the ticking of your time

pleaded "please don't take him away from me"

because without you, I could not be

I never found out the outcome that became

because I woke up, crying, silently screaming your name.
