Beauty Thoughts

Oh I may not be the prettiest, tis true,

but if there's one thing I value,

(I hope you value it too),

it's the inner beauty that should count.

The personality of person,

Can they make you laugh?

Can they make you happy?

That's what should count.

Not how much makeup was caked on,

to hide the ugly inside.

Not how much hairspray was used,

to hold the evil in.

Because if I love you,

and you say that you love me too,

it should not be for my e.l.f eyeliner,

and it shouldn't be for my Pantene shampoo.
