Everything

Everything was going right,

the perfect days, a close to perfect life,

until everything changed, all of the days,

turned to gray in a foggy haze.

Everything that was good, everything that was right,

ended all at once, vanishing in plain sight,

brought back the pain I knew from before,

left me with my face slammed against that cold metal door.
