Estella's POV :

Today, Shadis, our stern and relentless training instructor, decided to test our limits by taking us on a grueling run through the rain-soaked forest. The added challenge ? Carrying heavy loads on our backs, making the already treacherous terrain even more difficult to navigate.

As we set off, I found myself surprisingly at the front of the group. It wasn't an easy feat, though. The ground beneath our feet was slick and slippery, and the weights we bore strained our muscles with each step.

However, I had grown accustomed to pushing my limits every morning for the past two years. Running, regardless of the weather, had become a vital part of my routine—a ritual that awakened my body and sharpened my mind.

Suddenly, I heard Mikasa's voice calling out to me. I turned to see her, her expression filled with concern.

" Wait, Stella !". She said urgently." I don't want you to get lost. Please don't wander away from me".

Mikasa had always been a caring and thoughtful one, always looking out for me. Her worry touched me, but I couldn't help but smile.

" Don't worry, Mikasa !". I reassured her." Come on, let's run together !".

I reached out and grabbed her hand, pulling her forward as we increased our pace.

Meanwhile, Shadis, ever the tough taskmaster, barked orders and hurled insults at the stragglers. His words were sharp and biting, designed to push us to our limits.

" You're slow ! Run, you shitheads !" He shouted, his voice carried by the wind." What's wrong, Arlert ? You're falling behind ! Is it too hard for you ? Do you want to be the only one who puts down his equipment ? If this was a real mission, you'd be Titan food already !".

Armin, with his intellectual demeanor, had always been the target of Shadis' taunts. But if I were in Shadis' shoes, I wouldn't underestimate Armin. Though he lacked the physical prowess of some of the others, he possessed a sharp mind and an unwavering determination. Armin had proven time and again that he was more than capable of rising to any challenge thrown his way.

Third person POV :

Shadis watched intently as Reiner Braun, with his sturdy frame and unwavering determination, took Armin's bag to assist him. The gesture spoke volumes about Reiner's character and earned him the trust of his comrades. Shadis couldn't help but acknowledge the strength, both physical and mental, that resided within the young soldier.

Armin, on the other hand, lacked the brawn that Reiner possessed. However, his exceptional academic aptitude more than compensated for it. Shadis observed as Armin quickly caught up to Reiner, reclaiming his bag and continuing to sprint forward. It was a testament to Armin's resilience and determination, despite his physical limitations.

As the rain subsided, sunlight pierced through the clouds, casting a warm glow on the training ground. Shadis called for the cadets to prepare themselves to face the dummy Titans, a test of their skills and readiness. With a stern gaze, he watched them closely, positioning himself atop a tree, offering a vantage point to oversee their progress.

Taking out his writing materials, Shadis observed as Annie, Bertholdt, and Jean swiftly dashed past him. He made a note of each cadet, carefully assessing their strengths and weaknesses.

" Annie Leonhart, formidable combat skills, but her inclination towards individualism hindered her ability to work effectively as part of a team. Bertholdt Hoover, while highly talented, lacked initiative, and Jean Kirstein's exceptional 3D maneuver gear control was overshadowed by his brash and abrasive personality".
