I turned to see Mikasa and Armin, their eyes scanning the eerie surroundings. The enormity of the situation sank in as I looked up, beholding the immense ribcage that lay before us. It was a colossal structure, a testament to the power and ferocity that Eren possessed to protect us.

" Stella ! Are you alright ?". Armin's voice quivered with concern.

" Why did you do that ?! Now you...". Mikasa's worry was palpable, her words trailing off.

" I'm fine. I'm sorry, I wanted to protect you, and then I just revealed my magic to them... But never mind... What exactly just happened ?". I wondered, my voice filled with curiosity.

Armin pieced together the events, recounting what he remembered," I remember hearing the cannon. There was your magic, an awful noise, then that impact, and this heat. Now we're inside a gigantic skeleton...".

Mikasa sighed, her gaze fixed on the colossal structure and me," Eren and Stella protected us. That's all we need to know for now".

Armin, still in disbelief, muttered," Inside here, even flowers were spared ?".

Just then, Eren approached us, his footsteps heavy with determination," Hey ! Are you guys okay ?".

Armin turned to Eren, his expression a mix of confusion and concern," Eren, what is this ?".

Eren's voice held a hint of frustration as he replied," I don't know. But it's evaporating. It's just like a Titan's carcass. We should get away ! They're still just watching, waiting to see what happens next. The Garrison can't see our movements right now".

His words struck a chord within me. We were standing in the eye of a storm, a brief respite before the inevitable onslaught.

" But eventually, they will attack again. After showing them that, I doubt we can talk our way out of this one. I did remember one thing, though. The basement. The basement of my old house". Eren continued.

Eren's eyes flickered with a mixture of determination and anguish," My father said I would understand everything if I went there. He's also the reason I'm like this. If I get to that basement, I'll probably find out the truth about Titans, too. Dammit !".

His frustration materialized into a forceful punch against the Titan's bone, causing it to fracture.

As I watched Eren unleash his anger, I couldn't help but empathize with him. He stood on the precipice of the unknown, bearing the weight of unanswered questions.

" Why did he keep it a secret ? It's the intel the Survey Corps has been searching for at the cost of thousands of lives ! This is mankind's last hope ! He was just keeping it locked away in the basement ? What the hell was he thinking ?! Where has he been these past five years, after he abandons us...". Eren angrily said.

" Eren, we've got more pressing concerns right now". Mikasa reminded him, her voice filled with urgency.

Eren nodded, his anger momentarily subsiding. He took a deep breath and looked at us with a renewed determination.

" Yeah". He replied.

He remained silent for a moment, his gaze shifting from Mikasa to me. I could see the turmoil in his eyes, the weight of the world pressing down on his shoulders. Without a word, he made up his mind.

" I'm going to go away". Eren declared, his voice resolute.

The words hung in the air, and a wave of shock washed over us. Mikasa's eyes widened, and Armin stumbled over his words, trying to comprehend Eren's decision. But I knew what I had to do.

" I will follow you". I said firmly, my voice unwavering.

Eren turned his attention to me, surprise etched on his face.
