Hello and welcome to my fanfiction-themed retelling of the Vampire Academy series!

First and foremost, I cannot believe they actually canceled the show. I was really excited to see more and know more, but Peacock apparently canceled the show after just one season. 

I really hope they pick the series back up and give it their all once again, but if it really is the end for the Vampire Academy universe, I'm glad I at least have a start to this book partially done. In the near future, I will be trying to finish this book as hearing this sad news has prompted me to want to write this story again.

Secondly, I give all credit to Vampire Academy's original writers/creators, of the show and the author who wrote the books as well as the creator of the first spin-off movie of the same name.

I do not in any way, shape, or form, take credit for those adaptations with the same name.

I do however take credit for this book, and the original characters, their storyline, every other existing character's storyline/backstory as well as the plot and storyline of the book in the version of events told in this series.

In light of the difference, this will be very different from the series, it will follow the same hollow outline, but it will be changed all the way around. I grew up reading the books when they first came out, then the fantastic spin-off movie came out.

Speed up to now with the series out and there was so much more EVERYTHING in the show, it exceeded well beyond what I had hoped for, for a second launching of a spin-off to Vampire Academy.

In my personal opinion, this one was a huge success and it made me fall in love with Rose Hathaway and Dimitri Belikov, Vasilisa Dragomir, and every other character. 

They flipped the script and made the green light possible for this series. Therefore, I am now flipping the script on my own version of events told by Vampire Academy.

Synopsis of the book for those only partially interested;

This particular book is about a woman who was born into the Dragomir line, as being the oldest, but she defies her birthright, ignoring the crown all the while hopping from academy to academy growing up only ever being at St. Vladimir when she was really young and hadn't been back since. 

When she reaches her twenty-fourth birthday, her academy is attacked and she is sent to St. Vladimir for her safety, and little does she know St. Vladimir just got attacked as well, but it is where Lilianna grew up, so she stays. 

She is assigned a Dhampir Guardian who she doesn't know or recognize due to her being around the world in so many academies, upon arriving at the gates of St. Vladimirs, she and her Guardian are attacked leaving him hurt, but something happens and he is miraculously healed.

As the days progress and the weeks unfold, Lily convinces Dimitri to train her, because even though she is a princess, royalty cannot be a Dhampir Guardian or even train as a Novice, so he uses his sway in the academy to keep anyone from suspecting anything.

But in between all that training, that holding back, the touches, and kisses...There is a deep and dark secret that members of the council at St. Vladimir have tried to keep hidden from inside the school walls, and these students are just about to figure out what that secret is...

In the most unexpected of ways.

There will be mature parts that will come out, and some will be very mature.
