I hear Tyler's voice come through the phone almost a whisper.
"Ads."
"Tyler...where?"
"I only called to see if you are okay."
"I'm fine Tyler. I'm married..I have a baby. Where are you?"
"I can't tell you that. Just know I love you and I miss you. I'll be home soon."
With that he hung up.
"Darling? Are you alright who was that?" Kol asks.
"My brother."
He looks at me with those dreamy eyes and kisses my cheek. I take his hand and we go back to the couch.
"When Eli is older do you think he'll want to stay around?" I ask
"Of course. Why wouldn't he?"
"Because at one point Kol..he can't be our son anymore. He has to be our cousin, our brother, our something. We don't age. He will. He can't stay a baby forever."
The haunt of one day him not being able to call me mommy sends a cold shiver into me. Maybe one day..maybe one day I can stop his aging.
