TW// cussing, f slur (censored but said many times), bullying, being filmed without consent?

Raven's POV

I was pulled from my skating daze when I heard giggling voices. About three of them. I looked over and saw the two people that I hate more than anything standing there, filming me. Where was the other voice?

I started to slow down, when I heard a scream from behind me, startling me. I jumped sky high, falling on my ass. I looked and saw the third boy leaned way over the short wall, giggling.

"You should have seen your face!" The one filming me laughed. My hand started to hurt from the ice cold, well, ice against it. I picked my hand up and rubbed it on my top to warm it back up.

"This is going on TikTok! People are gonna love this!" The one beside the one filming said. I saw him pinching at the screen, probably zooming in on me.

I stood up on my wobbly legs, hurriedly skating over to an exit from the ice.

"Where you going, f@ggot? Running away like always?" One of them yelled. I wordlessly flipped them off, stumbling as my skates converted from the ice to the floor. They laughed. I kicked off my skates, making it easier for me to walk on the floor.

I sprinted into the locker room, not bothering to change. I threw on my hoodie, my sneakers, and grabbed my bag to leave, but was stopped.

I didn't even know these boys names. They just went to my school, and were total assholes.

"What's the rush, twinkle toes?" One of them asked. I exhaled. I think he was still filming. I didn't make eyes contact, nor did I face them. "You do realize that you're never gonna be able to compete, right? I mean, look at you. Can't even stick up for yourself. You're never gonna be as good as, what's his name, your idol, Faro, is his name?"

I slightly blushed at the mention of him. It's true, he is my idol. The whole reason I ever even started this hobby.

I felt someone grab my arm from behind me, and I quickly pulled away.

"Don't touch me." I snapped, kicking at whoever grabbed me. He backed up some.

I then fixed my bag on my shoulder and left.

"Oh, Raven! Leaving already?" Uneva asked. I nodded. "Is everything alright?" She asked. "Uh-huh, all good." I shot her a thumbs up. "Those boys aren't giving you trouble, are they?" "No, ma'am." I lied. She sighed. "Alright, then. See you! Next Saturday!" She said. I nodded. "You know my schedule. Saturdays and Sundays." I nodded. "Alright, have a good day, Raven." "You too."

I then left, speeding down the street.

Those words played through my head on repeat.

Where you going, f@ggot?

Where you going, f@ggot?

f@ggot

f@ggot

f@ggot

That's all I am to everyone at my stupid school. Just a limp wristed little f@g. All I am. Nobody sees me for who I actually am. I can be really nice. I am really nice. I'm nice to everyone I meet!

Hell, I even apologized to that guy after he bumped into me.

Or, maybe I bumped into him.

Did we bump into each other?

I don't know.

Doesn't matter.

I neared my house, making sure nobody was watching me before I went towards it. It's not that I ashamed of where I live, it's just that I don't want another reason to be bullied. I've got enough reasons as it is.

I went through the front door and put my skates back in their spot, and went towards my room.

"Raven? Your back already?" My mom asked. I ignored her. "Raven?" My dad asked. I kept walking. "Raven, don't you dare ignore me, boy." He said, sounding frustrated. I stopped and turned that way. "S-Sorry." I said, tears threatening to spill from my eyes.

"Are you alright, sweetie?" Mom asked. I slightly nodded. She walked my way and looked up at me, as she is short, and cupped my face in her hands. "Sweetie, you on the verge of tears! What happened?" She asked. "Nothing, mom, I'm fine." I removed her hands from my face. She frowned.

"Do you want to talk about it?" She asked. I shook my head. "No, I'm ok. Nothing happened. I just, uhm, yawned. And my eyes are watering." I lied. She slowly nodded, obviously not believing me. "I'm gonna go. Got some uhm, stuff."

I turned and walked away to mine and Sashi's room. When I entered, Sashi spotted my saddened face.

"Those boys bothering you again?" They asked. "Well..." I sighed. "Yeah. They are." "You shouldn't let them push you around like that." She said. "How? I physically can't try to talk to defend myself because my mind goes blank, and if it doesn't, you know I can't talk when I'm upset without crying." I squeaked, tears ready to fall.

"Plus, I'm weaker than a twig." I drying laughed.

"Ok, first of all, I guess you're right on the talking thing, but you can't be weaker than a twig! You're a fucking skater, Ray! You've gotta have some strength to be able to do spins and stuff with a centimeter thick blade as your footing. Be real." Sashi scoffed. I shrugged. "I- I guess that's true." I said.

"Have you ever even tried to throw a punch?"

"Sashi!" I laughed.

"What?! It's a valid question, Ray!"

I sighed.

"God, no, I haven't. And I'm not going to, either."

"Psh. Your loss. I'd punch someone whenever I get the chance." Sashi exhaled. "Yeah, well, you're crazy." I said. They scoffed. "Am not! I am very stable, I'll have you know. I bet I'm more mentally stable than you are!"

I exhaled.

"Yep. You sure are." I mumbled to myself. "I- what?" Sashi asked. "Nothing." I lightly smiled.

Sashi gave me a look, and I turned my head away from them and went over to plug in my phone.

"You know you can talk to me, right? That's what siblings are for."

I paused for a moment.

"Yeah, I know. Thanks."
