Raven's POV

The two of us decided against practice today. We decided to just chill. After last night and this morning, we figured that was best. We decided to just take a walk.

My lower body was in no shape to be walking after got absolutely destroyed last night, but Faro didn't notice that, so I didn't say anything.

As we walked, I did my best to hide the obvious discomfort on my face. Now Faro noticed.

"Are you alright?" He asked. I nodded. "Do you need to sit down? You look like something hurts. There's a bench just a little ways back. We can turn around." I shook my head. "Im fine." I said.

I sucked in my breath as I stepped, sending a pain through my lower body and some of my spine.

Faro's POV

I caught on to what was wrong when he took a step, obviously making him hurt. To be completely honest, I did feel a little bad.

"Here," I said, stoping him. He squealed as I picked him up without a warning. "Better?" I asked. "No! Not better! Put me down!" He laughed nervously, wrapping his arms around my neck for support.

"If you drop me I swear to fucking god, Faro!"

"I don't believe in god." I grinned.

"If you drop me I will murder you and everyone you care about."

"Al-Alright, then." I laughed. "I won't drop you." "Good."

Raven looked down.

"And why am I so high off the ground, you tall fuck?" He screeched. "You just answered your own question. I'm tall." I giggled. He rolled his eyes.

"Where are we going?" He asked, changing the subject. "I dunno. Is there a good breakfast place around here? We haven't ate." I said. He shrugged. "Beats me." He said.

"Have you ever tried beans on toast?" I asked. He stared at me for a moment, blinking. "Have I ever tried what?" He asked. "Beans on-" "No, no, I heard what you said, but, what the fuck?" "What?" I asked, nervously laughing.

"Hold on, put me down for a second." He said. I sat him down and he faced me, hands on his hips.

"Have I ever put beans on my fucking bread, you asked?" He confirmed. I nodded. "Y-Yes? Is that not- not normal in other places of the world?" I asked. "Beans on toast? No, that's not normal! Are you crazy? Does the texture of that nit make you fucking sick?" He asked. "I mean, no. It doesn't."

"You can your crazy British things. Monstrosities, at that." He exhaled.

I playfully scoffed, scooping him back up without a warning.

"I'll have you know, Raven, that beans on toast is very good, and you should try it before you go hating." I huffed. He rolled his eyes. "Well, I would, but I doubt any places around here sells beans on their toast." He said. "I mean, we could ask them to make it?"

"Oh, hell no. I am not going to ask some poor waiter to tell the cook to make me a mixture of beans and bread." He said. I shrugged. "Your loss, I guess."

He laughed, rolling his eyes.

"Fucking idiot." He said.

"Says the one who left the hotel with two fat hickeys on his neck."

He paused.

"What? I do?!" He asked. "I mean, yeah? That is to be expected after last night." I said. His cheeks turned slightly pink. "And you know what?" I asked. He looked up at me. "I'd give you a hundred more if you gave me the chance."

Raven's POV

"Faro!" I gasped, covering my face. "Just- no! What if someone had heard you?!" I asked. He wheezed, nearly dropping me. "There's nobody around, love." He said, wiping the tears from his eyes that formed from his laughter.

I paused.

"Wha- What did you call me?" I asked.

"Love. Or do you prefer baby? Or maybe princess? Or sunshine? Darling~?" He drug out the last word in a low, seductive voice. My face got hot and I covered my ears. "You- no- ah- s-stop-" I stuttered. "Aw~ Did I fluster you~?" He asked in that same voice. "Y-Yes, shut up." I admitted.

He planted a kiss on my cheek.

"That's what I was trying to do." He said. I could hear the smile in his voice, as I had my eyes closed. "Well it worked, idiot." I slapped his arm. He chuckled.

"I'm glad."
