Prologue
It was supposed to be a relaxing vacation in sweet, sunny Cape Cod—just me and my beloved brother—but discovering a corpse in our rental house really throws a wrench into our tanning schedule. She's also brave and beautiful and reminds me of the home I left behind three years ago. In other words, the painful hunger and protectiveness she is waking up in me is a threat to my peace of mind. Before I sink any deeper into this dangerous attraction, I need to solve this murder and get back on the road. I was resolute in finishing the Lost Symbol book I brought from library, but the craving got... overwhelming 🤧
So I picked this book
And it's so cute, hot, steamy and romantic.
Taylor and Myles are so perfect for each other. From the beginning the plot is light with humour and a little thrill. I really thought it would be basic rom-com with a monotonous plot but it was not.
Taylor's attempt to be gallant was admirable and her love for Jude was cute.
I loved Jude's character really and I had hoped that he author would have included Dante and Jude's story a little running parallel to the plot.
Still...not got what I wanted
Still the book didn't bore you even if you think it will at some point. You read and scroll down and down until end comes.
