Umika, her friends and the other 4 deities stared at Devraj Indra, who was sitting with his back rested against a pillar and his knees raised up so his both arms rested on them, while they all sat around him in a circle.

He was just gazing at the black marbled floor with a slight smile on his face, deep in his thoughts.

Umika looked at her friends and then at Surya Dev, who took it on himself to break Indra Dev's trance.

'Kin vicharo'n mein leen ho Anuj?' he asked him, giving his arm a slight touch of affection. Indra Dev looked up at his Jyeshth and then at everyone else. His eyes locked up with Umika and then with Mrityunjay. He looked between both of them, who were looking at him with worry, and his eyes started to fill up.

Controlling the tears in his eyes but not being able to control his trembling voice, he said 'Itne varsho'n tak kuch smaran nhi tha toh theek tha Jyeshth..........ab punah sab yaad aa gya hai toh.........bohot abhaga sa lgg rha hai.......bohot anath sa lgg rha hai' (I was fine all these years when I didn't remember a thing, Jyeshth.......now that my memory is back........I feel very unlucky......I feel like an orphan) He knew somewhere his Mother Aditi and his father Maharishi Kashyap are waiting for him and they did matter to him.

But he and his Brother were Devtas. They are well aware of the truth that biological parents are just a medium of giving a vessel to one's soul. The love towards them is out of gratitude and their 'Moh' is just 'Maya'. The real parents, who gave birth to each and every being, each and every particle in this universe were in front of him and they were unaware of their truth.

All Indra Dev needed right now was the lap of his Mother. Either Mata Aditi or Mata Bhagwati. But he could have none.

From his birth only it was clear that he was supposed to be the King. And though he had an elder brother, he grew up taking responsibility of everyone. Every time he was expected to behave like King of Kings..........because he is the King of Kings. Stronger than everyone else.

The reason why he was chosen to be the King of Devtas is that only he, out of all the beings ever created in this Universe, in all 14 lokas, possessed the courage and willpower to take decisions for the good of all, irrespective of their consequences on him.

He has always possessed a strong personality in respect to all the traits he has- be it his warrior skills or his arrogance that sometimes takes a toll on him and sometimes brings the best out of him.

Since Ages, Mortals had misunderstood him but he cared less. They are like children to him and children are naive.......and it is his duty to forgive them. They think of him as the arrogant, insecure King of Gods and contradict their own thoughts about him. If he was any of it......would Tridev and Trideviyan let him be the King? Of course not.

And their was no reason for them to doubt their decision of making him the King. He was truly as strong, as intelligent, as royal and as witty as the King of Swarglok should be.

Umika smiled sadly and said 'Aap chintit na ho'n Devraj.........sab theek ho jayega.'  (Don't worry Devraj.......everything will be fine)

He smiled weakly at her and she smiled back but then her mind asked her only 'Parantu kis mol par?' (But at what cost?) Umika did want to think of what it will take to make everything fine. She calmed herself down by telling her that whatever happens, she'll get to have Darshan of her Mahadev.

On the other hand, Mrityunjay looked at Umika and started pondering about her statement of everything being fine again. Once everything is settled peacefully, which he'll make sure himself, he'll leave her forever. But the question is.........will she leave him forever? Will her thoughts, her dream, the crave to have her as his sangini ever leave him?
