The following afternoon, Danah was eager to go home since Sheep promised the night prior to visit her again later. She could barely focus in class, only thinking about him.

Every now and then, Danah would check the clock to see how closer to freedom she was. The end of the school day was coming. Better yet, it was Friday. She predicted a great weekend for herself.

Unbeknownst to Danah, her two friends whispered to themselves about her. "Don't you think Danah's been off since her Vampire incident?" Minji hesitantly asks Sullyoon.

Sullyoon nods, "I feel you. I'd expect her to be feeling down because of it. Instead, she seems to look in love."

Minji felt assured in knowing that someone agreed with her. "Exactly! Did she fall in love with her attacker or something?"

Sullyoon exaggeratedly gasps, "Stockholm syndrome?" The two friends started quietly laughing to themselves.

On the other hand, Danah was thinking to herself, I shouldn't forget about Sheep's gift this time.

"Okay, I will now be announcing your partners for the next project!" Ms Song declares to the class, snapping Danah back into reality.

"Why do we never get to pick our own partners?" Minji groans, smacking her forehead onto her desk.

What? We have a project? Danah leans forward, poking Wonyoung's back. "What is the project on? Sorry, I zoned out."

"It's fine," Wonyoung gladly fills her in. "Ms Song wants us to create our own criminal case with a partner in newspaper format. Not too bad."

Danah nods. I should really start listening in class, Sheep is unintentionally making me sacrifice my grades. "Our first pair of partners are Jungwon and Danah!" Ms Song begins.

Danah's three friends instantly turn around to eye her. "This is the second time in a row you both have been partnered together," Sullyoon states.

Minji simply smirks, assuming that something was up. "Must be fate," she coos in a quiet tone. "I feel bad for you."

"Shut up! He might be listening," Danah lectures her. She turns around to make sure that he wasn't paying attention to see that his seat was empty.

"It seems like you've been zoned out during the entire school session. How didn't you notice that Jungwon didn't come to school today?" Wonyoung raises an eyebrow.

"For real, didn't you have the hugest crush on him during freshman year?" Sullyoon points out, bemused. "You raved on how much you loved his curly hair."

Danah chokes on her saliva after hearing that. "Exactly. Remember when you got a perm to match his hair? And you used to drag us around school just to stalk him," Minji reminisces the old times.

"Guys, I'm a new person." She liked a different person, anyway- Erm, Vampire.

"Remember, in gym class, when Danah got face-slammed by a dodgeball and Jungwon shortly came to check up on her? She never stopped talking about the apparent signs he gave her since then," Sullyoon adds on.
