"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?"
That statement continuously ran circles in Danah's mind as if purposefully tormenting her.

Was this a confession? If it was, was it platonic or romantic?

The next time she'd see Yang Jungwon, she was going to punt him. She was deeply frustrated by him. Did he really confess to her a couple days back and she completely missed it? She felt like an idiot.

Rose had just left her, locked in the dark attic. Fortunately for her, she was no longer tied to anything. Additionally, Rose even was kind enough to leave some japchae, but Danah refused to eat. She was skeptical of what meat Rose used to cook it.

She'd even often hear muffled cries coming from out her door.

Danah looked back up at the skylight as if she'd somehow see the sun, but it never came.

She didn't even know what time it was nor what day it was anymore. No matter what it could've been right now, the moon consistently stayed in its spot. That's how she knew that she wasn't in the Human realm anymore.

Although it is undeniably beautiful, I fucking hate the moon now.

Does Jungwon know where she is? Hell, will he even come for her?
Danah was overthinking. She was even getting ready to be locked in forever.

In all honesty, she just wanted to know how Jungwon was doing.

All seven boys sat in a circle in their living room. The air was overbearingly tense, but it was because a plan to fight back was being formulated.

Well, the plan was not to necessarily fight back but to retrieve Choi Danah. They wanted to avoid war at all costs, they couldn't bare to have one as it'd be too much of a hassle. Furthermore, their parents would definitely not be happy.

"Do you have any idea of where she could be?" Niki looks toward Jungwon.

Jungwon thinks deeply before replying, "Rose hindered all form of contact I have from Danah when she injected the serum on her. But, they're definitely not in the Human world right now."

One thing Jungwon didn't tell Danah about forming a telepathic connection is that Jungwon could now detect an idea of her location when he can.

"What makes you think she's not?" Sunghoon queries.

He responds, "When Rose summoned the teleporter, the other side of it looked to have been in the Vampire realm of the Strays."

They all simply nod, stealing glances at one another. Jungwon was dead serious, and it was causing tension in the atmosphere that was usually lighthearted.

In all honesty, they were all intimidated by their close friend. First of all, he was basically their leader, so they'd do anything for him. Second of all, he was their best friend and brother, so they wanted him to be happy... and that was all that mattered.

For the past few hours, Jungwon's eyes remained the colour red. Clearly, he was in fury; enraged. He swore to himself and Danah that he'd always protect her, and he did not want to fail her.

"Even if we know that Choi Danah is not here, we still don't know where exactly she is and that is crucial information," Heeseung rationally informs everyone. "We can't just show up Stray territory. We'd get caught."

"Right," Sunghoon adds. "Look at us, none of us can pass as Strays. We've all gotten our hair dyed at the Human realm for crying out loud." He indirectly mentions the traditional values of the Strays.

"How would we even find her?" Sunoo poses a question for the group to ponder about.

There was only one Vampre whom they knew had convenient abilities for such a mission.

Jay sighs, "I know you hate hearing this, Jungwon, but..." he gulps before continuing, "you'll need her to find Danah."

Her, his ex.

Jungwon exhales out at hearing this, frustrated. "He's right," Jake clicks his tongue. "She has the location tracking powers that we don't have. She's our best shot."

"I know," Jungwon closes his eyes. "I'll reach out to her then. There's no way she'd no, either."

"Our father would be more than angry if he finds out about this plan," Niki nervously laughs. The rest of them gulp.

He wasn't wrong, though. All seven of the boys in the room were Princes of the Royals. Six of them were adopted by the King, Jungwon's biological father, after the Great Vampire War thousands of years ago. Each of them were granted their own power after turning into royalty.

"He won't find out," Jungwon confidently states.

"Okay, so how exactly do we do this?" Niki reverts their attention to the main reason they were huddled up together. "We need to hatch something."

"I may have an idea," Jungwon licks his lips.

"We're all ears," Jay assures him. Jungwon couldn't help but crack a smile, thankful that he knew his friends got his back.

He leans forward, explaining everything to them in great detail. Everyone else could tell that Jungwon was determined which fired them up more.

"Is this going to work?" Sunghoon eyes everyone else to see if Jungwon has majority approval.

"It's worth a try," Jay shrugs. He was always down for some fun. The rest of the gang other than Heeseung nod in approval.

"Great," Jungwon stands up to delegate his friends. "I'll get a hold of our location tracker, and the rest of you can gather the supplies needed."

Jungwon was always a logical leader, so naturally his friends would trust him easily.

Everyone gets up and spreads out, ready to carry out with the plan. However, Heeseung was doubtful in their succession rate.

Jungwon walks toward the balcony to get ready to transform into his bat form when Heeseung suddenly gets up and grabs his wrist, stopping him. "Are you confident that this'll work, Won?" he genuinely asks.

Heeseung wasn't fully content with everything that is going on and didn't know if he wanted to be a part of this plan. Jungwon confidently nods, "I'm sure it will."

"Okay, sure, we may be able to infiltrate Rose's quarters, but do we even know if Danah..." he trails off, a bit hesitant in continuing, "... is alive?"

"She has to be. I know she is," Jungwon responds to Heeseung with a fire in his eyes that usually would only occur if he was truly passionate. Because of this, Heeseung felt assured and now had faith in him.

Heeseung sighs in satisfaction. "Okay, I'm in. Let's get your woman."
