Okay, this was okay. There was no reason to panic. No reason at all. Maybe it wasn't even as dangerous as she thought, or it was dangerous because she just heard two of them talk about being queer. And before that heard about Anne bribing her teacher. And Kat having insecurities about multiple things. And Kat also talking about how she might be lesbian. And Jane mentioning that she had a secret girlfriend. And Anne drooling over the women's sports team.

So Cathy heard the three talk about being queer, which she certainly didn't know, and wasn't supposed to know.

She should just wait it out for her own sake.

...But Cathy couldn't be late for maths. So she had to get out of there. Haha, here comes the problem. Cathy had been hiding in a bathroom stall for ten minutes now. And they just wouldn't leave.

And now that Cathy had been in there for so long she had heard conversations go on. She was confident that they would skip class here. But missing class the last week before an exam was not an option.

Cathy cringed as the stall door creaked very loudly.

Anne shrieked, "INTRUDER!"

The other two also looked horrified, partially mad already.

"I-I'm sorry! I AM GOING AWAY," Cathy tried to push through, but Anne grabbed her by the shoulder.

"You heard everything we said!" she pushed Cathy into a wall by her collar

Cathy felt a lump in her throat, "I d-didn't m-mean to!"

"O-o-oh, s-s-s-she d-d-didn't mean t-to," Anne mocked aggressively, "that doesn't fucking mean anything! You still heard!"

Tears welled up in Cathy's eyes and soon after began pouring out.

"Yeah, no, that's enough, Anne," Jane pulled her back a bit, "calm down."

Anne slowly, but surely caught her breath, "you're right. I'm sorry."

"I-is there anything I can do to prove to you that I'll keep my mouth shut?" Cathy stayed at the wall, barely any less tense.

Anne glared at her, "you have three options for keeping our secrets that won't get you killed."

Cathy nodded fastly, "yes, I'll do whatever you say."

A smile tugged at the corner of Anne's lips, basking in the power. "You could, one, give us something that's dear to you, so we know you won't let anything slide. Two, tell us a big secret about you. Or, three, stay in our sight for the entirety of every school day, so, join us basically. But that'd mean that this," Anne vaguely gestured at Cathy's outfit, "has to end."

Cathy looked up at her, not any less scared, "you should decide, I should have the least to say."

Anne stepped back, "hmm, help me out here, Kit."

Kat moved close to Cathy and tilted her head up by the chin, with her fingers barely touching Cathy, she wiped away the tears. Anne leaned over Kat's shoulder, "I mean, for a greasy little nobody, you do have good bone structure," she shrugged.

Kat leaned a bit closer, looking directly into Cathy's eyes, "and a symmetrical face. If I took a meat cleaver down the center of your skull, I’d have matching halves. That’s very important," Kat smiled, as she saw Cathy's flushed face when she backed up.

Now Jane joined as well, "are you eating enough sweet potatoes?" she pat Cathy's head, "you could stand to grow a few inches."

Cathy was still frozen in fear and didn't respond, so Anne spoke again, "good, nice, so you'll sit with us. Don't think this is just something we do with every little spy. You're lucky."
