"So, how has it been going for you two?"

You had started this agreement with Gojo about two weeks ago now, and you guys hadn't actually announced the 'relationship' yet. So when Nobara suddenly appeared in front of you that morning, it jarred you a little bit.

"O-Oh," you smiled nervously, "it's good. It's good."

You had no idea what the heck you were supposed to say. You hadn't dated too much in your lifetime due to your overwhelming trust issues, so even if you were actually dating Gojo, you wouldn't know what to say.

"I always knew you two would end up together," Nobara said, a smug smile on her face.

"You always said you were enemies, but we knew better."

You almost jumped out of your skin when Itadori appeared behind you, Megumi standing right next to him. You didn't know where they were coming from. You were just sitting outside and having a break. The only place you assumed they were coming from was the vending machine.

You almost spit out the truth because of your internalised reluctance to be associated with Gojo in such a way. But you couldn't slip up.

"So," Nobara asked, smirking and wiggling her eyebrows once you all sat down at one of the picnic tables, "this some enemies-to-lovers type beat. What happened? Got stuck in a broom closet and things got heated? Training together, your faces got close, and you kissed with heated passion? Forced to work on an undercover mission together and you had to stay in a love hotel as a cover and throughout the whole night tension kept growing and growing until you finally realised your true feelings for one another?"

What the fuck? "Girl, aren't you sixteen? Even if those things happened, I wouldn't tell you."

"Okay, but like, any of them? You don't have to specify—"

"Go drink some milk."

Nobara leaned back in her seat, crossing her arms and huffing childishly and ignoring Megumi's weirded out gaze. "Whatever. I'll find out eventually. Either way, I knew he didn't actually like Haruka that much."

You frowned. Now that, you weren't so sure about. "No I. . ." you sighed. Why were you doing this? "I think he really did like Haruka. Some things just don't work out."

Itadori gave you a look of regret, "(Y/N)-sensei, we didn't mean to bring up Haruka while you're in a relationship with Gojo. We didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."

Nobara realised her mistake, and sat up straighter, looking at you with guilt. "Oh, (Y/N)-sensei! I'm so sorry. I-I didn't mean—"

You laughed real laughter this time. Not because you didn't mind the Haruka thing, but simply because they didn't know your real predicament. "No, please, it's completely fine. Don't apologise." You rested your elbows on the table. "Besides, it will still take him a moment to get over her. If he truly has gotten through it, he'd be a bit more affectionate. At least, I think. I'm not sure."

It was at that moment that Gojo had somehow snuck up behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist, resting his chin against your shoulder and surprising you yet again. You weren't sure what was going on with your 360-peripheral lately, but it clearly wasn't working.

Gojo lifted his head a little bit, murmuring a small 'hey baby' in your ear, just loud enough for the three in front of you to hear.

But what you hated more was the goosebumps that travelled up the back of hour neck and down your arms. You looked at him, about to question his actions, when you had to remind yourself that you guys were literally 'dating'. Still, you were surprised with his affection. Wasn't it hard for him?
