      "I can't believe this."

"It's not that big of a deal."

"Like hell! I didn't waste all this time just to not even go."

"Oh get over it. You didn't even want to go."

      "Yes, I did."

      "Don't lie to me."

"I'm not. I wanted to go."

      ". . ."

      ". . ."

      ". . ."

      ". . . Okay fine I didn't. But that's not the point! Why aren't we going?!"

Gojo groaned and flopped his head back against the couch, clearly sick of your questions. "Because I don't feel like it! I wanna be able to relax."

"I think you do enough relaxing playing Honkai Star Rail at work," you mumbled, standing behind him at the couch and keeping your eyes on the TV.

"Baby, Star Rail isn't relaxing, trust me," he stretched out his arms and shifted his head, his hair tickling your hands that were resting on the back of the couch.

You scoffed, ignoring the name he called you. "Doesn't matter. You're not doing your job."

"Well don't act like you don't do it too. I've seen you and Nanami playing Words with Friends. Also, thanks for leaving me out." He leaned his head back to look up at you.

"Gojo, there's a reason we didn't invite you," you replied keeping your eyes on the TV.

    "And why is that?"

You looked down at him, saying nothing. You took his sunglasses off his face, putting them on yourself and looking back down at him before finally saying, "You're dumb."

"Weak defence," he said, making no attempt to take his glasses from you. "I can turn my intelligence on and off."

"And yet you can't turn it on when it counts," you said, smirking down at him.

He held back a smile, tongue pressing the inside of his cheek as he looked back at you, a glint in his eyes.

It was only after a few seconds of returning the challenging stare that you remembered what you had previously been talking about. Shaking your head, you said, "Wait, no! Gojo, the charity event!"

Gojo closed his eyes and groaned. "Come on, do we really need to go? If you want to dance so badly, we can do it right now."

"I don't want to dance with you, I just feel like we've spent all this time trying to prepare for it and now we're not even going. Gojo, it's two weeks away. That's just around the corner!"

"Exactly," Gojo said, sitting up and turning to face you. "Two weeks. And we've just barely learnt the basic dance, and haven't even touched base with our personal dance!"

"Okay, so we don't do the personal dance," you said, shrugging your shoulders. "That's not a big deal, right?

"Everyone's going to do a personal dance, (Y/N)," he deadpanned, and you sighed. An idea sparked in your brain.

"How about we hide?" You suggested, and Gojo frowned at you.

      "I'm a Gojo, (Y/N). They're gonna notice I'm not there."

"You were literally planning on not going altogether," you pointed at him. "It's better that you go and leave early rather than not go at all. Who knows how many more questions you'll get if you decide not to go whatsoever. Just say there was an emergency and we can dip early."
