You didn't tell Gojo. You didn't want to yet. You needed to clear things up with Nanami before anything.
The original plan was to approach him at work. However, you didn't know when you were going to get the opportunity to chat privately with him without at least one person overhearing. You were going to have to ambush him again.
And that's what you did the next day. You were very tense leading up to it, and any person could see it. You had been very robotic with Gojo, and you could tell he wanted to ask you what was up, however he never found a chance to be alone with you. Everyone had looked at you strangely when Nanami said 'good morning' to everyone and you didn't reply. You hadn't even looked at him.
You had barely made it through the day without the thought of him and Haruka, a lot of distant staring occurring. Thankfully you didn't need to teach any of your students, so you were mainly sat at your desk, staring at your laptop.
When it was time to leave, you got up first. You didn't say anything to anyone, just hurriedly grabbed your things and left, ignoring Gojo as he called out to you in complete and utter confusion at your actions. You sped-walked to Nanami's car, looking around you to make sure no one was following you. You finally made it over, hiding behind it again. You didn't want Gojo seeing you before you got any answers.
You heard everyone's confused chatter as they left through the front gates, and it eventually got quieter as they all left. You heard Nanami's footsteps approach, and suddenly they stopped. You frowned, frozen by the passenger-side door.
"Did your car break down?" You jumped out of your skin as Nanami spoke from behind you, and you stumbled as you stood up, spinning to look at him.
"No," you cleared your throat, adjusting the bag strap on your shoulder and speaking clearer, "No. I need to talk to you about something."
Nanami let out a small 'mhm' as he stood, waiting for you to speak.
Your voice cracked a little bit when you did, "Yesterday afternoon, I was with Gojo and the first-years at a cafe across the road from a park. By the time I was leaving, I noticed you had parked just further down from me. I went to say hi and uh. . ." You didn't need to tell this long story about how you found out, but it was helping you delay having to ask him. "I saw you in your car with. . . With someone else. . ."
Nanami said nothing, and nothing in his eyes changed from what you could see. You'd thought he'd be a bit more panicked.
You continued, ". . . With Haruka."
Nanami's face still didn't change, which kind of annoyed you, but moreover, it confused you. He wasn't reacting like he had just been caught driving away with his friend's ex. He was reacting like you were reading from a textbook or something. He nodded his head once and said, "Yes."
You found yourself biting the inside of your cheek a little bit, getting slightly peeved. "Yes?"
He nodded again, "Yes."
You raised your eyebrows at him expectantly, throwing a hand up. "And?"
"I was talking to her," he said, not moving. As a matter of fact, he was staying remarkably still.
You frowned, "About what?"
He shrugged one shoulder, causing your frown to deepen. "Just about the charity event."
You stared at him, your agitation growing. You'd never been annoyed with Nanami, nor did you ever expect to be. But he clearly was not giving you the information he knew you wanted to hear, and that only made your suspicions grow. "What about the charity event?"
