I've noticed I've got a knack for leaving in typos no matter how many times I proof read things. So I'm sorry if there are a few here, because I only proof-read the first half of the chapter.
OKAY I ACTUALLY PROMISE THIS IS THE LAST TIME I'M CHANGING THIS CHAPTER.

You sighed, leaning against the back of your couch as you let your head hang, eyes shut. Your whole afternoon had been filled with removing cursed energy from the back of a nursing home. Small to medium sized ones, nothing too drastic, but enough to tire out the one jujutsu sorcerer that was on the job, a.k.a. you. It was the weekend, but you hadn't had much time to relax. To be fair, you'd needed the distraction anyway.
You heard a knock to your front door, and you stood up straight, stretching out your arms and walking over to it. Without even a second guess, you swung it open, as if you didn't care that someone could quite possible be there to kashoot you. You frowned.
"Nanami, hey."
He seemed to notice your confused gaze at him, and he stood still, making no move to enter your house. "You called?"
It was a question, almost as if he was inadvertently asking if you still wanted him to be there. Funny thing was, you didn't remember ever calling Nanami. Your frown deepened as you shook your head a little, "Sorry, I just. . . When did I call you, exactly?"
Nanami checked his watch, "About half an hour ago. I think you were in the middle of fighting off curses."
You blinked at the ground, slowly remembering your impulsive call to him. "Right, sorry. My afternoon's been kind of hectic."
"Your whole life has been hectic for the past couple of months, I would say," he replied, leaning against the door. You hadn't noticed his outfit until then. It wasn't often you saw Nanami outside of work hours, something you hadn't realised until that exact moment.
It wasn't much different to his work outfit, but it was still a nice change. He had on a royal blue silk shirt, the top couple of buttons undone and the sleeves neatly rolled up to his elbows. Matching that was a pair of black slacks and black dress shoes. Your eyes trailed to his neck, catching the very thin silver necklace around it.
You cleared your throat, awkwardly looking away, noticing his hair in it's usual style, but a little messier. But in a. . . Really really nice way. "Did I interrupt something?"
He frowned at you in confusion, his arms crossing across his chest as he let out a small, "Sorry?"
You awkwardly gestured to his outfit, finally looking at him again. "You just look really nice. I'd hate to have interrupted something."
"No," Nanami said, his own gaze dropping to the ground for a moment before he looked back up at you. "But you did say you wanted something to do tonight."
Were you supposed to do him or something?
You shook your head, the entire phone call rushing back to you. You were in a rage-filled fit, and right in the middle of fighting a curse, you dialled Nanami's number and said 'someone take me out'. In which he replied with 'like a sniper or a date?' and you responded with 'surprise me'. After a moment of silence on his end as he'd waited for you to finish fighting off whatever curse you had on your hands, he said 'I'll be by yours in an hour'.
You stood awkwardly, looking down at your messed up work outfit. Clearing your throat, you looked back up at him, fiddling with your fingers nervously. "I uh. . . Might need a second."
