With a cup of coffee in her hands, she leaned against Derek's car as he gave Stiles jeep a much needed jump. The engine started on the blue vehicle, Aiden getting out from the front seat, closing the door and walking to the hood, where Derek was disconnecting the jumper cables.

"So, you think he was just sleepwalking?" Aiden asked "or is there something more to it?"

"In this town, there's always something more" Derek replied, walking to his car and disconnecting the jumper cables as well

"What if I told you I know something more?" watching him "I kind of overheard . ." seeing the look Nova was giving him "well, I listened in on Stiles talking to Scott. How he thinks he was the one who wrote that message in the chemistry room, telling Barrow to kill Nova and the other girl"

"You think Stiles, skinny and defenseless Stiles, is the Nogitsune?" looking at him "a powerful dark spirit?"

"I'm not the only one thinking it" shrugging slightly "I'm just the only one saying it"

"This thing wants to possess someone and chooses Stiles?" amusement in his voice "why not take someone bigger, stronger? Someone with a little more . . Power" looking at the jumper cables in his hands

Scott had a lot on his mind, Nova could see that as she kept an eye on him throughout the day, knowing he was going to go visit his best friend in the hospital after school ended. Which was now. Students were exiting their last classes, some of them going to their lockers to get the books they needed for their homework, while others simply left.

"He's a little preoccupied" the redhead informed as she walked over to Kira, who had just called out for Scott

Kira looked at her for a moment, her eyes moving to Derek, who stood behind her,

"But we can help you" he added

"Why would you want to help me?" Kira asked

"Because I want you to tell me everything that happened at the power station with William Barrow" honesty in his voice

". . He's not gonna hurt you" Nova spoke up, looking at the fear in Kira's eyes "plus, I'm going to be there too"

Derek didn't want her to go back there, to the place that could trigger her worst memories, but she wasn't going to leave his side.

The three of them entered the empty power station, the lights on the ceiling shining their way as they headed toward the place where Barrow had tied the girls to the chain-link fences.

"It was around here, I think" Kira informed "but everything kind of looks the same now"

Nova's eyes landed on the floor where burn marks lay, in a half circle right next to the fence, it was easy to remember the wire being wrapped around her wrist, then Barrow wrapping one around her neck to keep her in place. She understood why he took a picture of Kira with the flash on, because it was just like Nova. A fox surrounded Kira, similar to how Enjin surrounded Nova. Derek looked at a scratch mark on the floor, following it to a power box,

"What is that?" Kira asked "is that a baseball bat?"

Derek walked over to it as Nova looked up, her eyebrows furrowing slightly at the sight of the baseball bat that was stuck to the power box.

"That's Stiles' bat" she informed

The alpha grasped the base and the top of the bat, giving it a tug, his eyebrows furrowing slightly when it didn't move. When he gave it another pull, the bat simply moved an inch, forced to use his werewolf strength, managing to get the object free, looking at it in confusion,

"It's magnetized" he said

He walked away from the power box, placing the bat down where the thick scratch in the floor had began, Nova watching as it jerked slightly a long the line. The bat kept moving, Derek moving with it, the bat landing in the same position it was once in,

"Kira?" turning to look at the brunette "I'm going to need you to tell me everything you know about foxfire"

She looked at him in confusion, which only caused him to jerk his chin slightly to the sight behind her, Kira looking toward it,

"Enjin" Nova replied "because he hasn't accepted me, we communicate through this" holding the small notepad out to her

Kira gently took it from her hand, looking at the burnt writing that was etched into the paper, the book being nearly filled from front to back, which meant Nova needed to get another one in order to keep up with the communication. It was in a language she couldn't understand, but assumed the redhead could, handing the book back to her as Derek pulled into the parking lot of Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital. The three of them got out of the car,

"I don't know if I should go in" Kira said, standing next to the vehicle "you're going to tell Scott that Barrow might have used foxfire created by me to jump start the Nogitsune's power inside Stiles"

"Yeah" Derek replied with a nod

". . Basically that she helped a dark spirit take control of his best friend" Nova added, getting what she was saying

"What she said" Kira replied, nodding her head slightly as well

". . You should probably wait here" Derek replied

"I'll stay with her" Nova added

He gave her a small nod, leaning down and pecking her lips, which caused a smile to form on her own, Nova stuffing her hands in her pockets as she leaned back against the truck, watching as he walked away,

"Nice ass, Hale" she said lowly

"Don't make me spank yours later" a smirk in his voice
