Nova and Kira walked back toward the parking lot of the hospital, the brunette drinking a strawberry shake as the redhead drank a chocolate. While the two of them had waited for Derek, Nova got hungry, and her mate ran out of snacks in the car, so they walked down the street to get something to eat. They made it back to the jeep while talking about random things, Nova suddenly cutting herself off as she turned her head to the side, hearing something that didn't sound right. She turned around, her gaze moving toward the roof of the hospital,

"Oh, my god!" Kira gasped

A thick electrical wire flew from the roof, Kira pushing Nova out of the way as she ducked when it flicked toward them, their shakes falling from their hands, sparks flying all around them. The wire moved around them, seeming to follow Kira as they headed toward the entrance of the hospital, an ambulance swerving to the side to avoid hitting the teens. However, the vehicle hit the fire hydrant by the building, causing water to spray on the ground, with the electrical wire laying next to it, the sound of electrical crackling filled the air.

"Wait!" Nova yelled "stay inside!"

The driver of the ambulance didn't hear her, stepping into the floor, only to become electrocuted in the process.

"Get back!" Kira yelled "everyone get back!"

Allison, who had pulled up in her car, walked toward them, only to get shoved to the grass by Isaac, who had been with her at the time. He accidentally took a step into the electrified water, shocks filling him and causing him to fall to the floor,

"Isaac!" Allison exclaimed

Upon curiosity, a woman stepped out of her vehicle, the electricity ending her life in an instant. A car drove toward Nova and Kira, the redhead instinctively jumping up, stepping on the hood of the car and landing on the roof of the vehicle, ignoring the honk from the driver as Kira flipped herself in the air, landing in the water. Nothing happened to her, the electrical wire flapping toward her,

"Nova!" Derek yelled from across the water, concerned for his mate

She looked toward Kira, still standing on the roof of the car, watching as she grabbed on to the thick wire and held it in place, hesitantly raising her other hand and covering the bright sparks. The electricity crackled as it was contained, Scott and Derek looking at her in shock as her eyes changed color, absorbing the electricity as people ran out of the hospital in fear. Kira dropped the wire, electricity no longer flowing through it, which allowed Nova to step onto the trunk of the car, before jumping off completely, landing on her feet. Derek instantly ran over to her, wrapping her in his arms, which caused her to do the same, relief filling him,

"Isaac" she said

Grasping Derek's hand, she ran over to Isaac, who was laying on his side in the water,

"Isaac!" She called out, crouching down next to him, placing to fingers to his neck "he's not breathing"

"Scott, he's not breathing!" Derek exclaimed

Quite a few things happened that night, which seemed to echo in Nova's mind as she slowly began to wake up. Isaac was wheeled into the hospital, electrical burns on the side of his face, Kira was scolded by her mother, which caused Nova to snap at her as she walked by them.

"Go easy on her, all right? She just saved a lot of people tonight"

Two people saw Stiles leaving in his jeep, and no one had seen him since then. Two days, Enjin and Irina suggested that Nova didn't use her tears in order to help her friend, and she had no choice but to listen. Hatchlings must always listen to their elders. And if she were to use her tears, that would just raise suspicion, and they would have to leave town.

"You don't have to go" Derek said, wrapping his arms around her from behind

"My grades may make up for my absences, but I do have to show up a few times out of the week" Nova replied

"I'll drive you, then" giving her frame a gentle squeeze

"The thing is . ." Kira sighed as she walked with Scott and Nova "in all of the stories, kitsune are tricksters. They're mischievous. They don't really get caught up in right or wrong or even understand it"

"What's that mean?" Scott asked "it's just doing all of this for the hell of it?"

"No, there was something else I found" shaking her head slightly "if you somehow offend a Nogitsune, it can react pretty badly"

". . How do you offend a Nogitsune?" Nova asked

"I don't know" shrugging her shoulders "but if it's doing something this bad, then someone really, really offended it"

"Listen up!" Coach shouted "anybody catched the slightest glimpse of Stilinski, you contact the first available teacher. Got it? Got it?!"

"Yes, coach" the boys in the locker room replied

"There's a card on my desk for Isaac Lahey" he continued "and every one of you losers is not only going to sign it, you're going to write a personal message so profound and deep, it's gonna bring a tear to coaches eye. Who's first? Ah, Danny! That's how you do it, buddy. Keep it PG"

"No Stiles, no demonic ninjas" Ethan informed

"Things are getting too quiet" Aiden added

"It's really unsettling" Nova commented as she sat on the bench

"Yeah, I know" Scott said "it's making me nervous too"

Nova's eyebrows furrowed, tilting her head as she cringed, covering her ears and roughly shaking her head, causing her hair to fan out, as if she was trying to get rid of the sound.

"What?" Aiden asked, looking at the Phoenix

"Do you guys hear that?" Ethan asked

"It's an emitter" Nova replied, a low growl emitting from her

"One of Argent's" Scott added

The four of them quickly exited the locker room, following the sound that pissed Nova off, and the male teens could see that. She clutched her hair, aggressively shaking her head,

"The basement" she muttered, her eyes snapping open, revealing her red eyes "God, it's coming from the basement"
