(5 hours before the party)

Aonung's POV:

I sat down on my side of the hut.

I was just thinking.

I don't even know what I was thinking about.

Suddenly, Tsireya walked in.

I didn't bother to say hello or even look at her.

She began to walk over to me.

I didn't move, putting my hands together and sighing deeply.

"What's wrong?" Tsireya asked, moving a strand of hair from my face.

I moved away, hitting her hand back.

"Nothing's wrong. I'm just tired." I replied flatly.

I could tell Tsireya didn't believe me.

If I'm honest, neither did I.

She grabbed my ear and whispered something

"Tell me, or I will figure it out myself" She said quietly.

My sister was as sweet as honey. But when she wanted to, she could honestly be terrifying.

"Ow! Okay! I'll tell you!" I let out. "Just, let go of my ear!"

Once she let go, she sat up opposite from me.

"So?" She asked, slouching down a bit "It's not like I have all day. I have a party to set up y'know?"

"Yeah, about that" I said, looking away.

"I don't think I'm going to that. I just...Don't think today is the day"

A shocked expression crossed her face for a second. But it soon faded and turned into anger.

"Why not!?" She exclaimed, waving her hand's in the air.

"I do hope you realise that you're the chief son."

"I know, but..." I didn't know what to say next.

"But what Aonung?" She said, getting closer. "You just can't do it today!? This change has effected me too y'know?"

I nodded slightly and looked straight down to the ground.

"You know? You can be so selfish sometimes!" She said, almost shouting out.

I began to narrow my eyebrows, feeling anger ball up.

"At least give me one of your stupid excuses!" She said, getting even closer

"I'm avoiding Neteyam!" I shouted, pushing her back a little bit.

"What? She asked, a confused look on her face.

"Why would you be avoiding Neteyam?" She asked, now looking genuinely curious.

"Because I don't want him to know I have feeling's for him, okay!?" I screamed, looking away once again.

Tsireya was speechless for a few seconds but the silence was broken once I heard her scream out laughing.

"What..? What's so funny?" I asked, not facing her.

"That's your excuse? Because you have a little crush on the new boy?" I was a little confused upon hearing that

"Wait...You're not disgusted..?" I asked hesitating.

"Disgusted?" She asked, stopping and looking at me.

"Well...I like another boy. Isn't that...gross?" I asked, a distressed look on my face.

"Why would that be gross?" Tsireya asked, a now very serious look on her face.

"Well...I don't know actually." I replied, looking down again.

"Well, don't fear brother. I couldn't care less if you liked a boy, a girl or even a sky person" She said, a slight smile sneaking onto her face.

I returned the smile, looking up at her.

"Thank's sis. I guess I just needed to hear it from someone else." I said, laughing at my own comment.

"Well! This party isn't going to set up itself, is it?" She asked, standing up

She offered a hand to me and I gladly accepted it.

She pulled me up so we were now facing each other.

"So! Shall we begin?" She asked, walking out.

It felt nice knowing that at least one Na'vi accepted me.

I was just worried she might accidentally tell Lo'ak.

Or even worse,

Tell our father.
