Aonung's POV:

Once I finished washing up, Tsireya and I got out and began to walk out of the forest area.

We were talking about our days and what we had planned.

There wasn't really anything important about the conversations, but it felt great talking to her.

We had never talked like this before.

About our feelings. About our days.

It felt amazing to actually talk with my sister.

Once we reached the sea, Tsireya told me that she had to help mother with something.

I nodded understandingly and waved goodbye as she called out before walking off

"See you tonight"

I smiled to myself and began to head to Neteyam's family hut.

I was a few feet away from the hut when I spotted Neteyam sitting outside the hut with his younger sister, Tuk.

They seemed to be playing in the sand.

As I got closer, I noticed Neteyam had saw me.

He smiled and waved happily. I waved back, walking over and sitting down next to him.

"Hey" I said, smiling at him, admiring all of his features.

"Hey" He replied, looking me up and down.

Suddenly, Tuk came over and jumped on my back.

"Aonung! Why did you take Neteyam away from us last night!" She yelled, playfully strangling me.

I took her hands off my neck and lifted her down off my back.

I turned around to see Tuk with a frustrated face, her arms crossed and her eyebrows narrowed downward.

"Sorry Tuk, me and Neteyam were..." I stopped for a second, looking over and facing Neteyam.

I smirked slightly as he blushed a deep blue.

"We were just having fun last night" I said, looking back at Tuk.

Her face seemed to change.

It looked like she was less angry now.

Tuk looked over to Neteyam who was still blushing and back to me.

"Did you and Neteyam kiss last night?" She asked, a confused look on her face.

When me and Neteyam heard that, we were both shocked.

I looked over to Neteyam who looked back at me, just as confused.

Neteyam's POV:

"Why would you think that?" I asked, looking at Tuk for an answer.

"Oh, well, Lo'ak and Roxto were talking about you two the other day" She replied, unfolding her arms.

"And last night, Lo'ak was talking to Tsireya and he said that you two were kissing in the bushes."

My heart dropped hearing that. I didn't know what to say next.

My only thought was: 'Does Lo'ak know?"

I stood up, pulling Aonung up with me.

"Sorry Tuk, we have to go talk to Lo'ak" I said before dragging Aonung with me inside out hut.

Upon entering, we saw Lo'ak and Kiri sitting on the ground, just talking.

Once we got closer, Lo'ak and Kiri noticed us.

Lo'ak stopped talking and looked up at us.

"Hey Aonung" He said, smiling

"Lo'ak, could you come with us? Please?" I asked, not looking at Kiri

"Sure?" He replied, confused

The three of us walked outside towards a group of rocks, not too far from our hut.

We all stood behind them, Lo'ak still having a confused look on his face.

I looked at him, folding my arms

"What do you think me and Aonung are?" I asked, looking straight into his eyes.

"Uh, friends?" he replied, staring at Aonung then back at me

"So why did you tell Tuk we were kissing in the bushes?" I asked

"She doesn't have to know about that man." Aonung said, lowering his head.

"What are you talking about? It was a joke between me and Roxto" Lo'ak replied

I froze for a second.

I looked over to Aonung who was just as shocked

"Wait, are you two..." Lo'ak looked at both of us "A thing?" He asked

"Uhh" Aonung hesitated, looking up at me.

"Yes" I said, sighing "We are" I replied, calming down.

"What the fuck?" Lo'ak said, an angry look on his face. But the more that I think about it,

That look might have been disgusted...
