Aonung's POV:

It was now eclipse.

Neteyam and I were getting ready to met up with Rotxo.

We slowly walked down to the beach, walking about waist-deep into the water and calling our Ilu's over.

As we both heaved ourselves on, we began to ride out to the reef.

We didn't pay close attention to the time and ended up being 20 minutes late.

Both me and Neteyam apologised and Roxto simply nodded, an understanding look on his face.

All three of us began to ride out, diving under the clear water.

Neteyam was going significantly faster than me, attempting to race Rotxo.

I chased after him, a wide smile on my face.

We raced through the coral and fish.

Eclipse made the ocean so beautiful and vibrant.

I eventually caught up to Neteyam, riding next to him.

Both me and Rotxo jumped out of the water, spinning in the air and diving back down again.

Neteyam seemed mesmerised, watching as we did tricks and shouted random things out.

I can't remember the last time I had fun like this.

Lately, everything was about becoming the next chief and the leader of the clan.

It was nice. It felt like I was freed.

Like I could be who I wanted to be.

Around 30 minutes passed.

We all began to slow down once we saw the Three Brothers Rocks just up ahead.

We all pulled up to the shore, leaving our Ilu's there.

As we all walked down the beach, we talked about our days and who's going to catch the biggest fish.

Roxto and Neteyam began to fight about it.

"I don't know how you expect to catch anything with that tail" Roxto said, laughing at his own joke.

"Yeah?" Neteyam asked, playfully shoving Rotxo a bit

"I caught 73 fish in one day back in the forest"

"That's nothing!" Roxto replied, nudging Neteyam back.

"Aonung caught 168 fish once! Didn't you Aonung?" He asked, looking over at me.

"169" I corrected, smiling at him.

"Shit. I really need to practice more" Neteyam admitted, looking down.

"Sure do tree boy" Roxto said, smirking at Neteyam.

Neteyam's POV:

We continued to walk along the beach until we saw small cave.

It was actually pretty scary all things considered.

It was pitch black and I swear I could hear something coming from inside.

"This is the best hunting spot." Rotxo said, pointing at it.

"But only me and Aonung know about it, so don't go around telling everyone" He said, glaring at me.

I looked back at him, a little worried now.

"Don't worry" Aonung said, pushing Roxto out of the way.

"Nothing's gonna kill you in there" He said, smiling at me.
