Your Beautiful eyes (Neteyam X Aonung)

Teenagers

Neteyam's POV:

Aonung took my hand, leading my along the shore.

We both walked at a steady pace, going to a secret place behind a few rocks.

Once we finally reached our spot, I was astonished.

There was a small woven blanket in the center, shells placed specifically around the edge.

Aonung led me to the middle, sitting me down and coming close to me.

"It's beautiful, Aonung" I said, breath taken

"I know. And it's the perfect night for a date as well" He replied, wrapping his tail around my waist

I leaned my head on top of is shoulder as we both stared up at the starry night.

He was right, it really was the perfect night for a date.

We sat in comfortable silence for 5 minutes or so before I gently lifted my head and faced him

I couldn't help but stare. He must have noticed, because he was now staring back at me.

He chuckled in my face, turning the both of us so his body was now facing me

"What?" He asked, that stupid smirk resting on his lips

I smiled back at him, leaning forward and pulling him down into a kiss

It felt so nice. Like real magic. 

We kept going at it for a minute or so before Aonung pulled back, pushing me away and laughing

"Excited much?" He asked, holding my face in his hands

"Come on, it's been so long. Can you blame me?" I asked, laughing back

"No" He simply replied, pulling me back into another kiss.

It had been years since I learned how to breath properly, which means both Aonung and I could hold our breaths for a very long amount of time.

That meant that our make-out sessions were a lot longer than most.

We somehow ended up laying in the sand, hands all over and minds going crazy

We weren't normally like this. If anything, we stopped getting intimate at 21

Our relationship was mainly romantic things and occasional kisses.

But this felt like old times.

Like when we were teenagers again.

We both pulled back, huffing extremely fast

I don't know how, but Aonung found his way underneath me, hands on my hips and hair out of his usual bun. 

Once I caught my breath, I ended up just laying down, resting on Aonungs chest

"Tired?" He asked, raising his hand and placing it on my head

I simply nodded into his skin, hugging him back

I felt his gaze stab into me as his chest slowly moved up and down

I turned my head, looking over to the shoreline.

I looked up at Aonung, lifting my head off his chest and standing up

"Wanna go swimming?" I asked, pointing at the ocean

He hesitated for a moment before standing up and coming close.

"Of course" He replied, walking over to the water.

I trailed behind, my eyes fixed on his back

He was always taller than me, but in the past few years he basically became a giant.

He always made fun of me for being short which I hated the most.

We quickly reached the water, ducking under and swimming out

We swam side by side, watching the schools of fish pass by and the coral below glow bright colors.

It had been a good hour before we decided to head back, reaching the shore and wrenching out our hair

It was a slow walk back, both of us talking about stupid things we had done the day prior.

Once we reached our hut, it was far past midnight and we were both exhausted.

I ended up crawling into our bed, quickly drifting off

Before everything went black, I felt Aonungs hands of my waist, pulling me closer for warmth

"Goodnight, Neteyam" He whispered, resting his head on top of mine

I am SO sorry for not posting. School and work have been messing with my head and Im genuinely not sure what to write anymore :(

I hope this chapter is okay!! I really wanted to update at least one of the three stories I'm working on right now :)
