I woke up as the sunlight falls on my face, I looked around the unfamiliar room, and my eyes fell on Arjun. He was sleeping soundly on his side. Although we slept on the same bed we maintained quite distence between us.
I walked inside the closet, taking my clothes and went inside Bathroom. After freshing up came outside, Arjun was still sleeping.
I looked myself into mirror, Setting my saree I put sindoor (Vermilion) , ah! I am a married woman now.
I smiled more like blushed.
I went downstairs, I saw my mother in law. "Ma, good morning" I smiled at her. She looked at, returning back my smile, "bacche, why are you here so early? You should rest a little bit more. You must be tierd"
She's so sweet.
"Oh so I got a loving mother in law.... Means no Saas-bahu fights?" I teased. Ma laughed, "sorry to burst your bubble"
"Ok what about you father in law?" I looked at Dad. "Oh no I am here to support you when you fight with my son" He said as we laughed.
"Let me help you" I entered the kitchen, "You need to make Sweet for today's ritual" She said and I nodded, "Sure"
I started preparing for sweet, The breakfast was ready. I saw Riya coming out of her room and soon My husband joined too.
My husband huh? Sounds good.
I internally smirked. I kept all the dishes on the table as everyone started having breakfast.
"Wow this Halwa is so tasty" Riya chirped. "I know right.... This the best one I've ever had" Dad intervened.
"Now I can't agree with you Jay" Ma said. I looked at Arjun who haven't said anything, my mood became sour. I was glaring at him the whole time.

After breakfast Dad and Ma called me and gave me gift. "But it's not–"
"Nope! You can't say No" Dad gave me 'i dare you say no' eyes, At last I had to give up.
I came back to my room and saw him coming out of closet. I ignored him and started doing my chores.
I felt his presence behind me when I was keeping my things on vanity. "Gussa ho Jaan?"

"Kitten? You look cute when you are angry but you know what I hate it when you get angry on me" I looked his reflection, he was pouting.
"I wonder who is the reason" I said curtly. He sighed, I felt something cold around my neck. I instantly looked looked in the mirror.
It was a beautiful dimond necklace. I gasped, "A-Arjun" I touched the necklace around my neck.
He hugged me from behind, caressing my bare waist. "That Halwa was delicious..." He stopped to kiss my neck, "And you too" He whispered in my ears.
I felt tingling sensation around my body. What is he trying to do? Making me feel all giddy all of a sudden.
"Uh... Thanks for the gift Ar-Arjun but..." I turned to face him, "This is too much"
"Nothing is too much for my beautiful wife" He kissed my cheeks, "You, my darling, deserve so much... You have no idea. And I am going to make sure you get the best in your life"
His grey orbs were looking at me intensely with so many strong and passionate emotions in them. His eyes flickered from my eyes to my lips.
Wait.... Where is it going?
He was coming near to my face.
Am I going to have my first kiss today?
Oh god! I don't even know how to kiss!!
His lips were inch closer to my lips. I felt nervousness rushed through my body. It's not like I am not ready to kiss him.
Before our lips can touch we heard a knock. I heard Arjun groaning and cursing under his breath.
"Bhabhi! Ma is calling you, come down" I heard Riya. I looked at Arjun who was in displeasure.
He let me go, I rushed outside. "Beta, Abhay will be coming to take you for pagphera. You should get ready"
(Pagphera is a ritual where bride has to go back to her house for some time or somedays *varies to– place to place*)
"Where is going?" I heard Arjun. He walked downstairs. "Back to her house"
"WHAT? WHY?" I flinched. "It's a ritual Arjun!" Ma rolled her eyes.
He looked at me, "But you just came" He mumbled enough for me to listen, I chuckled at his behaviour.
"It's a Ritual Arjun... Can't do anything" I walked inside the closet. "Can we just ignore this Ritual?"
Why is he acting clingy? Not that I hate it...
"We can't —" I was cutted off when he slammed me to the wall, he was so close to me. "We ignored the ritual of suhagrat... This can be ignored too"
(First night)
Omg I got a shameless husband... I looked at him wide eyes.
His breathe was falling on my face that's the proximity we were sharing right now. "A-Arjun... I have to pack, move!"
"So you won't listen to me?" He huskily said. "Ok but you need to bribe me" he said, I looked at him with confusion.
"What do you mean?"
"I have to stay away from you for I don't know how many days... So in order to survive those days you should give me a kiss"
I'll faint right now....
I looked at him as if he has grown thorns over his head. "Arjun... Get away from me"
"Not before you give me what I want"
I bite my lips and look at him, I composed myself and looked back at his lips. I started moving closer.....
"Shreya!!! Munchkin!!! Are you ready!!" I heard a bang on my door. It was Abhay Bhai's voice.
"Yes Bhai just a second!!" I pushed Arjun and ran inside the bathroom.
"I'll kill Abhay that's for sure" Arjun gritted his teeth.
