It had been about a week since my date never showed up and I was just concerning myself with work and Mary. I was stopping by the college with Mary in her carrier and I was looking everywhere for Frank. He was supposed to be in his office but he wasn't. I walked to his classroom and saw him talking to a woman, she was flirting and hard.
I sighed and knocked on the door loudly, he saw me at the window. The lady he was talking to paid no attention and walked out the side door to the classroom. Frank motioned for me to come in and I walked in and sighed.
"You forget you were supposed to take her this afternoon?" I asked and he groaned.
"Yeah, I did because I have class in a half an hour." Frank said and I sighed placing my hands on my hips.
"Frank, I have a doctor's appointment and I don't want to have to take Mary with me." I said.
"I can't have her here while I have a class." Frank said. I picked up the carrier from where I set it on a desk.
"You're ridiculous. We have a schedule, why do we have a schedule if you aren't going to follow it?" I said annoyed and went to leave.
"Hey woah! I follow the damn schedule. This was an oversight." Frank said and I just pinched the bridge of my nose.
"Whatever Frank, I have missed my appointment anyway trying to track you down. So, forget it." I said and went to walk out. I heard Frank groan as I went to walk out.
"I need to ask for a favor before you go..." Frank said and I just looked at him in amazement.
"What Frank?" I asked.
"I have a date tomorrow night." Frank said and I huffed a laugh.
"So what, you need Mary and I to make ourselves scarce?" I asked and Frank sighed.
"Not sure, I mean we are going to dinner but just in case we come back home..." Frank said and I sighed.
"Fine. All for you Frank." I said and walked out of his class and students started walking into the room.
"Vienna..." Frank called after me as he met me in the hallway. I stopped and he looked at him.
"What?" I asked.
"Sorry you missed your appointment." Frank said and I just shrugged.
"Not like it was needed any way. You and Mary are enough birt -..." I started to say then stopped. "Never mind, forget it." I said.
"No, please finish that sentence." Frank said and I sighed.
"You and Mary are enough birth control as it is. I don't really need to go get my prescription renewed when I'm not dating." I said and Frank groaned.
"Is that what this is really about? You not having dates?" Frank asked and I groaned.
"No Frank god! It's about following the damn schedule." I said. I finally groaned. I took the baby bag off my arm and set it on the ground with Mary in front of Frank.
"Class or no class, take her. I need a break." I said and walked out leaving Frank standing there.

I was sitting at home after taking a relaxing bath and was now reading a book when Frank walked in carrying Mary and her diaper bag along with his briefcase. We didn't say anything when we saw each other and he placed Mary in her playpen and handed her, her favorite toy and then walked into his room shutting the door. I looked at Mary and she smiled at me.
"You have fun with Uncle Frank? Did you learn anything?" I asked and she laughed. After about 20 minutes Frank came walking out of the bedroom dressed in jeans and t-shirt.
