"Aren't you going a little too fast?" The manager cracks a joke as everyone at the restaurant gives us a look and laughs loudly. I am embarrassed and hello hot summer once again!
Ryan and Adya doesn't seem to understand the joke.
"Hey, you're turning red." Ryan says as he leans closer.
"It's the summer."
YES IT DEFINITELY IS INDEED! I talk once again inside my head.
"It's not even that hot today."
"It is. Just shut up! I feel hot okay?"
"Cool, why are you getting so worked up?"
"Why are you getting so worked up?" I mimic him. "Tubelight!" I bleh him with my tongue out and move forward to my usual table with Adya.
"What did I even do?" I hear him whispering to himself from my back as I shut my lips together and try to suppress my biggest smile of the day.
