bro why is ableism sososooo normalized

take johnny joestar for example, bro has a mosquito bite kink but ppl are making jokes abt him being disabled???? like please bffr ☠️☠️☠️

also any time there's a tiktok about a disabled person who's making jokes abt whatever disability they have, 1  out of 1 times the comment section is just full of "aww don't take that to heart, stand up for urself!!!"

btw having legs that don't work isn't the only form of disability, ppl are so fucking stupid bc there's so many reasons for someone to have a wheelchair aside from it being a substitute for walking

racist and homophobic ppl are already overlooked, but ableist ppl are disgustingly normalized

the fact that so many ppl don't know the r word is a slur and say it freely doesn't help at all

in the school curriculum of canada (not sure abt other countries sorry), there's a good amount of things abt racism and bhm, and a miniscule amount of lgbtqia if not none

that's already bad bc they only talk abt anti racism in the month of february

it's like they only think it's mandatory then

the ppl who say the r word without knowing aren't even at fault. the board doesn't educate you at ALL about anything, how are they supposed to know?

they just do the bare minimum for certain topics in certain months then say "oh we've done enough let's review this old irrelevant topic that will never help in these kids future for the 8283827383th time this school year"
