Five hundred years have passed, Elfing Thranduil is now a young prince who is beautiful, strong, and also kind hearted.

Today was archery practice, all the young elves gathered to listen to captain Feren's directions. "Okay, now Galion, you see the bird statue up there, I want you to hit it in the eye."

Galion drew his bow, his eyes fixed on the bird statue almost two kilometers away in front of them. And quickly he released his arrows. "Yay! I hit it! I hit it!" Galion said enthusiastically Feren shook his head

"yes indeed, but you hit his stomach. I told you to hit the eyes, not the stomach and make all of the internal organs spilled over. Do you want to eat a bird with its stomach internal organs spilled over?"

Galion scratched his head "forgive me, my lord"

"Hir Nin, Thranduil. Now it's your turn"

Thranduil stepped forward, and with lightning speed he shot the bird in front of him right in the head. All the guards who saw that cheered in amazement

"Good. You've always been good at archery" Feren praised

"Thank you Feren. But I prefer swords" Thranduil replied

"Sword? Too bad. The Greenwood elves are famous for their archery skills. Why did you choose a sword, my Prince?" Meludir asked, confused

Thranduil shrugged his shoulders "I don't know, I don't think arrows are for me. But you are also good at archery, just need a little practice" Thranduil complimented

Meludir Smiling, blushed

"And reduce unnecessary daydreaming while studying" Feren added

Meludir smile "sorry" He said

Thranduil and Meludir walked together, and talking. Suddenly an elf approached them

"Elros, I didn't see you during practice, where have you been?" Thranduil asked

"And why does your face look tired?" Meludir also asked

Elros frowned "That old Galion! he told me to clean the dungeon alone!" he said annoyed

"How come?" Meludir asked

"Well..... Because he caught me drinking two barrels of wine" Elros replied

"You deserve it" Thranduil replied curtly

The three of them were walking together, and accidentally bumped into a group of maidens passing by

"Ladies" Elros menyapa

The maidens give a short curtsy "Hir Nin, Thranduil"

Thranduil lowered his head, and smiled at them

The maidens couldn't say anything and just ran away with blushing cheeks

Elros and Galion were stunned by the scene

"I swear, my prince. You must have kept them up all night" Meludir said

"And word will spread tomorrow, if the prince has his heart set on all of them" Elros said, wryly

"What's wrong with being friendly to them?" Thranduil asked

"They don't want your hospitality, they want you" Elros said

"Me?" Thranduil was confused

Elros patted his head "hey you're still not married, they definitely want to be your queen"

"Aahhh....."

"Why not choose one of them?" Meludir asked

Thranduil shakes his head "I'm not interested"

"Is it because of that girl?" Meludir asked

Thranduil was silent, not answering it at all

"How long has she been gone?" Meludir asked again

"Wait a minute, I'm lost in here. Who do you mean?" Elros asked, confused

"Verena" Meludir answered

"Oh, the fair hair, blue eyes girl?" Elros asked

Meludir nodded

"How long has she been gone?" Elros asked again

"It's been five hundred years" Thranduil replied

Five hundred years? Not too long Elros said

Thranduil smiled

That night Thranduil sat in his room looking at the stars, he then looked at his wrist. There was a shabby red bracelet firmly attached to his wrist. It was the thread bracelet that Verena had given him during their last meeting five hundred years ago. Thranduil smiled as he stroked the thread

"Five hundred years. They say it hasn't been long but why does it feel like forever"

Thranduil then laid his head on the bed and fell asleep
