It's been eight years, they are all very tired, and fed up with this war. Especially Thranduil. While victory is still not in sight, the argument between Gil Galad and Oropher is getting heated.
"With all due respect, High King. You want to kill all the eldar?!" Oropher said irritatedly
"Please listen to me first" Gil Galad said
"I've heard enough! Eight years, even for us eight years at war is too long. How many more eldars are we going to sacrifice?!" Oropher started snapping
Thranduil clasped his father's hand, hoping to quell his anger. But Oropher's anger was still the same
"You organize your army as you like but I will manage my own" And with that Oropher left the room
