Thranduil awoke from his slumber, his side aching from the fact that he had fallen asleep on the table.

Thranduil got up from his desk, and put his face close to the window.

The singing voice became clearer. Thranduil rushed out of his room and ran to the sound of the singing.
Thranduil enters the forest, the path he takes is the path he walked in his dream. He looked around, the forest was not dark, it was very bright instead. Illuminated by stars and fireflies.
Thranduil went deeper and deeper into the forest, until he entered an area that he was very familiar with. The place he used to go with Verena. The place in his dream, the place where the mysterious girl danced.
And Thranduil's eyes fixed on something in front of him. Exactly in that place, Thranduil and Verena used to spend their time sitting while eating fruits, it was also in that place where the girl in his dream danced, and it was also in that place now that Thranduil saw the girl again spinning, her beautiful white dress floating in the air, her golden hair fluttering, and her beautiful face shone under the moonlight.
Thranduil was stunned by the girl's face, he approached the girl slowly "excuse me" He called softly
The girl was surprised and stopped dancing "Oh Dear! Am I disturbing you?" She asked
"Sorry, have we met? Who are you? And why are you dancing in the middle of the night like this?"
She smiled "I used to live in Greenwood, and I used to play here with my friends, so I let go of my longing after not coming home for so long" she replied
Thranduil's eyes widened "VERENA!?" he said, shocked
"How do you know my name?"
"You don't remember me?" Thranduil asked
Verena was silent for a while, then she widened her eyes in shock after realizing who was the person in front of her "THRANDUIL?!"
Thranduil nodded "yes! It's me!"
They both laugh, Thranduil runs and hugs Verena tightly, he picks her up and spins her "I thought I would never see you again!" they both laughed very loudly, and made several trees that were sleeping, woke up
"Quite!" Verena warned
Thranduil pulled her down on the ground "how was your life in lindon?" Thranduil asked
"It's beautiful" Verena replied
"Why choose to return?"
"Let's just say I miss my house" Verena replied
They both chuckled.
Thranduil stared intently at Verena's face, he couldn't control his happiness and smiled broadly as he looked at her
"What?!" Verena said, irritated
"No. It's just, I hope this isn't a dream".
"Oh... Let's make sure" Verena slapped Thranduil hard on the cheek, leaving a red handprint
"Aww!" Thranduil winced "why did you do that?!" he said shocked
"To convince you that none of this is a dream!" Verena replied "are you awake now?!"
Thranduil shakes his head "you never change"
"Really? But I'm getting old"
"And beautiful" Thranduil answered, curtly
Verena widened her eyes, she patted Thranduil hard on the shoulder "I didn't expect the Crown Prince to quibble already" She stood up and walked away
"Where are you going?!"
"I'm going back to the lodge, I'm tired and want to sleep" Verena shouted
Thranduil got up and chased him "I'll take you. Thranduil took Verena's hand and wrapped it around his own.
They walked, occasionally looking at each other and smiling.

"Fine, I'll go inside and sleep, you go" Verena said
Thranduil nodded like a fool "see you tomorrow"
Verena raised her eyebrows "see you tomorrow? How can you be sure I'll still be here tomorrow morning?" She teases
"Then I'll make sure guards guard all the gates so you don't leave again"
"Isn't that coercion?" Verena said, smiling coquettishly
"I don't know" Thranduil shrugged his shoulders "good night" Thranduil suddenly kissed Verena on the cheek and ran away "meet me tomorrow at the training ground, I will train with Feren" He shouted while waving his hand
"THRANDUIL! THAT WAS MY FIRST KISS!! I WILL KILL YOU!" Verena yelled
"You can do it tomorrow" Thranduil ran and laughed
