Alex and Tyson

Ch. 4 The Grocery Store Romance

[Scene: A grocery store. Alex is picking out apples, Tyson is grabbing some bread, and Jason is perusing the cereal aisle. They don't notice each other at first.]

Alex: [Humming to himself] La la la, just picking out some apples, no big deal.

Tyson: [Mumbling to himself] Bread, bread, where is the bread?

Jason: [Talking to himself] Hmm, should I get the fruity pebbles or the frosted flakes?

[They all turn the corner and accidentally bump into each other.]

Alex: [Surprised] Tyson? Jason? What are you both doing here?

Tyson: [Equally surprised] Alex? What a coincidence.

Jason: [Nervously] Yeah, I needed to pick up some groceries.

Alex: [Smiling] Me too! What are you both getting?

Tyson: Bread.

Jason: Cereal.

Alex: Apples.

[They all laugh awkwardly.]

Alex: [Breaking the silence] So, how have you both been?

Tyson: [Smiling] I've been doing pretty well. Started dating someone new.

Jason: [Excitedly] Oh, that's great! Who is it?

Tyson: [Looking at Alex] Actually, it's Alex.

Alex: [Surprised] What? You're dating me?

Tyson: [Nodding] Yeah, I guess I forgave you.

Alex: [Smiling] That's amazing, Tyson.

Jason: [Feeling left out] Uh, I guess this is where I say that I started dating someone new too.

Alex: [Curious] Oh yeah? Who is it?

Jason: [Looking at Tyson] It's Tyson.

Tyson: [Shocked] Me? You're dating me?

Jason: [Nodding] Yeah, I guess I forgave you too.

[They all stand there in silence for a moment, processing the situation.]

Alex: [Breaking the silence] Well, this is certainly unexpected.

Tyson: [Laughing] Yeah, it's like a weird love triangle.

Jason: [Smiling] I don't mind, as long as we're all happy.

Alex: [Agreeing] Me neither. And hey, at least we don't have to worry about jealousy anymore.

Tyson: [Smiling] Yeah, I guess that's true.

[They all laugh and continue shopping together, enjoying each other's company.]

[The scene fades to black as they walk off into the sunset, happy and in love with each other.]
