Ch. 5 Finding A New Third

[Scene: Alex and Tyson's living room. They are sitting on the couch, looking sad.]

Tyson: [Sighing] I can't believe Jason is gone. I miss him so much.

Alex: [Nodding] Me too. He was such a big part of our lives.

Tyson: [Looking at Alex] I know we talked about it before, but do you think we're ready to start looking for someone else?

Alex: [Pausing for a moment] I think we owe it to ourselves to at least try. We'll never find someone exactly like Jason, but we can find someone who can make us happy.

Tyson: [Smiling] I agree.

[Scene: Alex and Tyson's computer screen. They are scrolling through an online dating website.]

Alex: [Reading] "Likes long walks on the beach, hates spiders, and enjoys binge-watching Netflix."

Tyson: [Scrolling] "Into hiking, camping, and trying new foods."

Alex: [Laughing] "Well, that's a little too adventurous for me."

Tyson: [Rolling his eyes] "Come on, Alex. We need to be open-minded."

[They keep scrolling until they come across a profile that catches their eye.]

Alex: [Reading] "Name: Jason. Interests: Fitness, acting, and adrenaline-pumping activities."

Tyson: [Excitedly] "Jason Statham? No way!"

Alex: [Laughing] "It has to be a fake profile."

Tyson: [Clicking on the profile] "Let's message him and find out."

[Scene: Alex and Tyson's living room. They are both sitting on the couch, waiting for a response.]

Tyson: [Nervously] "What if it really is him? What if he's not interested in us?"

Alex: [Comforting] "We won't know until we try. And even if it isn't him, we can still find someone else."

[Their phone dings, indicating a new message.]

Tyson: [Excitedly] "It's him! He wants to meet up for drinks tonight!"

Alex: [Smiling] "Looks like we're getting back in the game."

[Scene: A bar. Alex and Tyson are sitting at a table, waiting for Jason Statham. He walks in, looking just as handsome as he does on screen.]

Jason Statham: [Smiling] "Hello, lads. Nice to meet you."

Tyson: [Nervously] "We're big fans of your work, Mr. Statham."

Jason Statham: [Chuckling] "Please, call me Jason."

[They all chat for a while, getting to know each other.]

Jason Statham: [Looking at both of them] "I have to say, I'm intrigued by this dynamic you have going on."

Alex: [Smiling] "We like to keep things interesting."

Tyson: [Agreeing] "Yeah, we've had some amazing experiences."

Jason Statham: [Smiling] "Well, I think I'd like to be a part of that."

[The scene fades to black as they clink their glasses, happy to have found a new third.]
