Chapter 28

I could say: "OMG yess !" Or "actually Joe already asked me"

But I decided to say, "I'll think about it"

I know he just got back into my life, and he's been through a lot since his father lost his job (because of Stacy) but I can't really decide right now. What if he changes?

Luke's POV

I don't know why I trusted Stacy. But this is what happened when I cheated on her that day.

FLASHBACK

"Hey Luke!" Stacy called out to me.

I turn around to respond but stop when I notice tears in her eyes.

Why is she crying?

"Luke... you w-won't b-believe what j-just happened" she stuttered as I got more and more worried.

"What happened ?!" I asked, wanting her to spill the beans already.

"It's Chloe..." she said, making me more worried that something bad might've happened to her.

"What? What happened? Where is she?" I ask, worried.

"She's cheating on you! And she said if I told you she would kill me!" She said, making me realize why she's crying.

"Wait, she's what?"

"Cheating! I saw her making out with a guy, I didn't see his face though" she said as she wiped her tears.

I didn't know what to do. I was confused. I would never cheat on her so why did she cheat on me? Was I boring?

"Y-you must be joking" I say, blinking my tears away.

All I could think about was how I could get her back.

But that's where I went wrong

"I have an idea to get her back!" She said, her tears suddenly gone.

"I know exactly how to get her back"
I said, taking her hand and leading her to the back of the school.

Everyone watched us as we climbed on a table and started kissing.

I felt uncomfortable. But I had to make her regret what she did to me. Punish her for her wrong doings.

The wrong doings she never did

Immediately when I saw the look on her face, I knew I had messed up.

No matter what I said she wouldn't listen.

I tried to go after her but Stacy stopped me.

And that was the end of our relationship.

END OF FLASHBACK

All this is my fault .

I shouldn't have believed Stacy.

"I gotta go get ready for the valentines dance" she said , standing up from the cold bench.
