"JJ I just-" John B walks in, getting interrupted by the sight of me.

I look up to him, my eyes teary. JJ does too.

"What happened?" John B sighs.

"What do you think dude?" JJ shrugs, trying not to cry again.

John B looks at me and JJ, examining our bruised faces. He instantly sits next to us, hugging us the tightest he could.

I felt like I couldn't breathe, but I didn't wan this moment to leave. It felt just like old times. Just like us in fifth grade again.

I remember JJ crying in my arms almost everyday because of his dad. He didn't have anywhere else to go. Neither did I.

But thanks to John B, he saved us. We only stayed at the chateau when his dad went missing. I can't imagine the amount of trauma JJ went through those years, at least I stayed at my mothers.

"You need anything?" John B asks.

JJ shakes his head and John B looks to me, waiting for me to respond.

"I'm good." I smile.

"Wait- am I- allowed to stay here." I pause.

John B looks around the room as if he was considering the decision. I would understand if he said no, I would just be hurt.

"I don't know, Gia." he kisses his teeth.

"No- it's fine." I say.

I get up, wiping my tears.

"Dude-" JJ stutters.

"It's all good." I smile.

I walk for hours on end. I had nothing to do and had no one to go to.

I didn't want to go to Barry, this time I would prove myself right. Should I go?

I fought my emotions for one of the first times in my life. I'm going to contain myself. I'll prove everyone wrong.

"Hi."

I turn around, face to face with my sister.

"Hey." I gulp.

"Heard what happened at Kelce's party." she awkwardly laughs.

"Yeah." I join in with the awkwardness.

"So, where are you staying?" she asks.

"I got someone." I shrug.

"Good, good. So, JJ and Pope forgave you?"

"Sorta, I'm not sure."

"Mhm." she nods.

We stand there in awkward silence.

"So-"

"I'm gonna go." she interrupts me.

"Oh alright." I nod.

I walk to the Cameron's house. Rafe wanted to talk, so I would let him talk. That doesn't mean I forgive him for what he did to me and Pope.

Just because he 'saved me', he won't get forgiven that easily.

I knock the door a few times and the door squeaks open almost immediately.

"Oh- hey Gia." the blonde girl says.

"Hey, Sarah." I reply.

"Do you need help or-"

"Go away Sarah." Rafe comes from behind, now standing next to her.

"Gee thanks for asking politely." Sarah rolls her eyes and walks into the kitchen.

"Hey." I say

"Hi."

"You wanted to talk. So talk."

Rafe turns around, seeing Sarah looking straight at us, confused.

"Come." he takes my hand, pulling me upstairs.

We reach his room as he shuts the door and locks it, sitting on the bed with his head in his hands.

"I just-" he murmurs.

"You what." I sigh.

"What is wrong with you Rafe? Why would you tell everyone?"

"I felt so bad right after I said it and I don't even know why I get like that. My anger gets the best of me and I should've never said it." he stresses out.

I stand there, in silence.

"That's why I went to your dad's house in the first place. I looked in the chateua first but couldn't find you, so I went there." he says.

"And about your dad- uh."

He looks at me, as I look away. I don't want to talk about him.

"I'm sorry." he adds.

"And Pope?" I ask.

"I'm sorry about what I did to you, not him." he states.

I'm so fed up of him. I attempt to walk out of the room until I hear him yell.

"Gia wait!" he yells.

"What." I don't turn around yet.

"Look at me." he says.

I turn around, seeing water starting to fill his eyes. I felt so bad, but he can't get away with things this easy.

"I'm sorry about Pope too." he says.

"Tell him that, not me." I sigh.

"What?"

"Go to the chateau, and tell him."

"No- I can't-"

Before finishing his sentence he looks at me, as I'm about to walk out

"Alright. Fine!" he sighs, standing up.
