"I got you guys a condo unit." Det. Torres handed Jayden a set of keys.
"Condo?" Sabrina's eyes widened.
"If you two are going to act as a couple, you'll need a house? Besides, I'm sure they'll do background checks. Better to be safe than sorry." Det. Torres explained.
"Makes sense...but does that mean we're going to have to live there?" Jayden asked the important question.
"Of course. You and Sabrina are supposed to move in today. We don't have time." Det. Torres dropped the news.
"Today?" Sabrina gasped.
"Hindi ako joking. Now." Det. Torres looked at the two.
"Yes, Sir." Jayden and Sabrina had no choice but to follow instructions.
"I'll drop you off and pick you up in an hour? Will that be enough?" Jayden and Sabrina were in his car.
"Yes, Sir..." Sabrina nodded. The rest of the ride to Sabrina's house was awkwardly silent.
"Text me when you're done. I'll come over." Jayden reminded as Sabrina alighted.
"Yes, Sir." Sabrina gently closed the car door.
"Apo, why are you home so early? And what's with all that?" Lola Agnes was surprised to see Jayden with a duffel filled with his things.
"Lola, I received an urgent undercover order. Sorry hindi ako nagsabi sayo kanina...Will you be okay alone?" Jayden was worried about Lola Agnes' safety.
"Ingat ka lang at wag masaktan, okay? Wag mo akong alalahanin. I can take care of myself." Lola Agnes assured Jayden.
"I love you, Lola. I'll call whenever I'm free." Jayden hugged Lola Agnes tight.
"Love you too, Apo." Lola Agnes patted Jayden on the back.
"Remember to call me if anything crops up, okay?" Jayden reminded before leaving.
"I know..." Lola Agnes waved as Jayden pulled the car out of their garage. Jayden gave Lola Agnes one last look before driving off the Sabrina's house.
"Did you pack everything you need? We'll be there for a good month or so..." Jayden helped Sabrina with her luggage.
"I think so..." Sabrina wasn't sure herself.
"You have the address of the condo, right?" Jayden turned to Sabrina once they were in the car.
"Yep...Alex sent me the details. Golden Hill Apartments, unit number 805." Sabrina read the message from Alex out loud.
"Golden Hill Apartments?" Jayden's voice was louder than he expected it to be.
"Is something wrong, Sir?" Sabrina didn't know why Jayden was so surprised.
"No...it's all good..." Jayden gave Sabrina a small smile.
"Good evening, po. We're moving in today. Unit 805." Sabrina informed the security guard, who verified their identities.
"I'll take the luggage." Jayden offered to carry both their stuff up to the unit.
"803...804...Oh, here's our unit." Sabrina stopped in front of their house for the foreseeable future.
"I know it may be a little uncomfortable living alone with me and I want to make things as comfortable and safe for you as possible...Is there anything I should take note of?" Jayden asked after they had entered the unit.
