"My God he's adorable!" I said annoyedly and heard my brother laugh

"My God he's adorable!" I said annoyedly and heard my brother laugh.
"That's what annoys you about him?"
"Well, yeah!" I said with a huff, "How am I supposed to be professional and keep my bad bitch appearance if he looks that adorable?! All I want to do is squish his cheeks!"
"What exactly is stopping you?" Pierre asked from behind me and I sighed.
"Oh, I don't know," I began sarcastically, "Maybe the fact that we work together and I'm supposed to be professional?"
Pierre pouted, "But when it comes to me you can call me imbécile (translation: idiot), crétin (translation: jerk), connard (translation: bastard), and so much more, but that is not unprofessional."
I turned to my brother. "If I call you any of those names, it's just accurate. Besides, you're my brother. Those aren't the worse things I have called you and you know it."
"Why do I even bring you?"
"Because I work here?"
Pierre huffed, "Any other garage could have hired you, but no, it had to be AlphaTauri hiring you."
I squeezed Pierre's cheeks, laughing brightly, "Oh, shut it, you love it really."
Pierre rolled his eyes as he stared at me. "Jeez, why did I ask mom and dad for a sister?"
I laughed, "I brightened you otherwise miserable and dull life."
"You painted all of my toy cars pink."
"You ripped off all of my Barbies' hair."
"You sunk my bike in the town lake."
"Your bike had no brakes and I nearly sank with it."
"If you had left it quiet, it wouldn't need the brakes."
"If you had told dad, he wouldn't have let me ride it and would have fixed it."
"If you hadn't been curious I wouldn't have gotten the blame for it all."

"Sorry to interrupt, but I think we're being called to a meeting." Pierre and I turned to Yuki in a second and I blushed when I realized he had heard our banter.
"Yeah, yeah, we'll be right there! Thank you!" I turned to Pierre, "Allons-y, Tête de noeud. (Translation: Let's go, dickhead)
Pierre huffed as he looked at me, and poor Yuki only seemed more confused as he heard me speak French. "Fermez-la  ratê!" (Translation: Shut up, loser!)
Yuki looked anxiously between my brother and me as we walked and I sighed.
"Don't worry, I was just insulting my brother."
"Really?" Yuki asked with a smile, "It sounded like a really pretty insult."
I laughed, "That's French I guess. I was calling him a dickhead, but it seemed all sweet and cute to you."
"I ought to learn French sometime," Yuki said, and my brother reached behind him to pinch me as he nodded in Yuki's direction. "I could teach you if you'd like?"
"Only if I can repay you somehow."
I looked at him, taken slightly aback. I did not know how to answer that.
"Maybe I could try a teach you some Japanese? Just enough to throw a few insults around."
I beamed at the idea as my brother huffed. "I'd love that!"
"You did not just offer to give her another way to insult me."
"Hey," Yuki began with a smile, "a deal's a deal."

(...)

Yuki and I had gotten closer as a result of me teaching him French and him (trying to) teach me Japanese.
Yuki was a great student, on the other hand, I was not as much.
But Yuki never lost his positive attitude, he was always eager to meet with me and confident I would learn something.  I admired his positivity, I really did.
I stood beside the table where I had sprawled a few of the sketches I had made for a new car that was in the works, as I waited for my brother and Yuki to be done with the simulator. It shouldn't take them long.
We had all agreed to go out for lunch because we deserved it for all the hard work we'd been putting in, and I was checking the sketches I had drawn while practicing the Japanese insults Yuki taught me.
I thought I was completely butchering every single syllable, but at least I was trying.
I really needed new insults for Pierre, because French and English were becoming kind of boring to use, and what better way to make things feel less boring than learning a new language?

I was whispering the words to myself when I felt a hand  on my shoulder, scaring the fuck out of me, "The pronunciation is a little off, but you're getting there!"
"Merde, Yuki!" (Translation: Shit)  I hissed as I placed a hand over my heart, seeing my brother snickering behind Yuki. "You scared me half to Hell!"
"Sorry!" Yuki said with a laugh, "I swear I wasn't trying to."
I sighed as I collected my things and put my sketches neatly in a folder, "Are we ready to go?"
"Actually, I don't really feel like going anymore. You two go without me." Pierre said as he smirked and I narrowed my eyes at him, before turning to Yuki, offering him a smile.
"Give us a moment, will you?" I pulled Pierre with me a little further from Yuki before I spoke, "Qu'est-ce que tu crois faire, putain?"
"Quoi ? Je n'ai pas envie de sortir!
"Vous le savez très bien ! Pourquoi nous envoyer déjeuner seuls?"
"Parce qu'il est temps que vous sortiez ensemble ! Puisque aucun de vous ne le demandera à l'autre, autant le faire pour vous!"
"Bâtard intrusif." I smiled at Pierre and hugged him as he hugged me back, "Merci beaucoup."

(Translation: "What the fuck do you think you're doing?"
"What? I just don't feel like going out!"
"You know very well! Why are you sending us off alone for lunch?"
"Because it's time you two went on a date! Since none of you will ask the other, I might as well do it for you!"
"Intrusive bastard."  "Thank you so much.")

Pierre went to his driver's room, and I went over to Yuki, who was on his phone, waiting for me.
"Do we go?" I asked and Yuki looked at me.
"Only if you're comfortable." He said with a small shrug and I smiled at him, looping my arm through his.
"Of course I am!"
"Just so you know," Yuki began as we walked to his car, "I think Pierre is just bailing on us to set us up."
"What do you mean?" I asked as I rose an eyebrow.
"He talked to me when we got here earlier this morning," Yuki began as we stopped walking, "he thought I had already asked you out, and when I said no, he was pretty mad, to say the least."
I sighed, "Yeah, that's basically what he was telling me just now."
"So, is it still okay?" Yuki asked and I smiled at him, throwing my arms around his neck as I watched him smile at me. "Even if this can be a date?"
"Yeah, I think it is."

(...)

Yuki and I had been dating for a while, but we had to keep it a secret, because for one I wasn't really keen on getting harassed by fans just yet and because I didn't want to give Yuki any trouble with the AlphaTauri team.
Only Pierre, Charles, and obviously mine and Yuki's families knew for now. Charles honestly knew because Pierre couldn't shut his trap, not when it came to Charles. But it was okay, I trusted Charles to not blab.

I was working in my office at the headquarters, filling out a bunch of paperwork, when someone knocked at my door.
"Come in."
Yuki stepped in with a smile on his face, closing the door behind him and holding up two bags of food. "I haven't seen you much these days and you haven't gotten out of this office for the whole day according to Pierre, so I thought I'd bring lunch and check on you."
I smiled, standing up to hug Yuki and press a peck to his lips, "You're the best boyfriend ever, do you know that?"
Yuki laughed as he sat down, watching me gather my papers and put them neatly on top of my now-closed laptop. "You tell me that a few times, but it's always nice to hear."
Yuki handed me a container, and I opened it, nearly salivating at the sight of food, "I actually cooked these at home for us, so I really hope you like them."
I smiled at him, "Was there any time I didn't like your cooking?"
Yuki shrugged, "There's a first time for everything, sweetheart, so it's possible."
I laughed, reaching over to press a kiss to Yuki's cheek, "You're a great cook, I'll love anything you cook me."
Yuki smiled as we started to eat in silence, before Yuki perked up, "I've been thinking, and I'd like to take you on a date."
I rose an eyebrow, "We've been going on dates for the past three months Yuki. Did you hit your head somewhere?"
"No, I mean like a proper date. Going out to dinner somewhere fancy, showing you off because you're gorgeous and deserve that. You know, all those nauseatingly sweet things you are more than deserving of."
I blushed, "I'd love to, Yuki, but I'm kind of scared of the fans. They can be... a handful. That and I don't want any of us to get into trouble at work."
Yuki tilted his head, "I spoke to HR, and they said as long as it doesn't affect either of our performances, we're good to go."
I smiled at him, "You spoke to HR?"
"Yeah, I spoke to them last week actually, and I took today as the perfect opportunity to tell you. As for deranged fans," Yuki smiled at me, reaching for my hand, "We can handle them, even if I have to hire an entire team of bodyguards to protect you, I'll do it. I'd do anything for you."
