I had been seeing this gorgeous woman everywhere I went in the past two days, but each time I tried to get to her and talk to her, she'd disappear.
Until now, when I accidentally bumped into her when I rounded the corner and she hadn't disappeared from my sight. At least not yet.
"Hello hermosa," I said softly to the gorgeous woman in front of me, "What's your name?"
She stared at me for a little, tilting her head with a thoughtful look in her eyes, before she took out her phone and wrote it down, making me smirk at that.
Was I making her nervous?
She turned her screen toward me.
Y/N.
"That's a beautiful name," I offered her a smile, and she wrote thank you on her screen, "Am I so handsome that it makes you nervous to the point you can't talk?"
She rolled her gorgeous eyes, her shoulders shaking as she laughed, before she tapped away on her phone, which she turned to me when she was done.
I'm mute you dumbass. I physically have no words to say to you.
I stopped for a second, looking at her as I felt myself blush.
Way to embarrass myself in front of a beautiful woman. What an idiot.
"Sorry," I said as I rubbed my neck, "Sometimes I let my ego drive the things I do and it usually isn't total shit. I swear I'm not usually this much of a big-headed idiot."
She laughed again, typing out on her phone.
All is forgiven if you agree to get a drink with me.
I offered her a grin, "Have you ever had mate?" She shook her head, which only made me smile wider, "Well, let's get to my place and I'll make you some."
She stopped for a second, before she typed.
How about we get a cup of coffee somewhere public with witnesses?
I laughed, nodding my head, "Sorry, I sometimes get too ahead of myself, it can be a bit of an issue," I pushed down my sunglasses, "I know a good coffee place nearby, what do you say?"
She grinned before nodding, motioning for me to lead the way.

Y/N and I had been texting for a while now, texting constant and consistently, and I learned three things about her:
She had developed selective mutism due to childhood trauma.
She was working as hard as she could with therapists to overcome her selective mutism.
She was studying to be a Crime Scene Investigator.
I knew more things about her of course, like her favourite colours (lavender and pastel blue), her favourite band and singer (5 seconds of summer and Hozier), she hated anything spicy except spicy curry, she did her best to drink at least 2l of water everyday (she'd fainted on a hot summer day because she hadn't hydrated properly and that had scared her enough to do her best at drinking more than enough water), she loved to have milk and cereal but only if the cereal went first. And she'd pretend to hate mate the first three times I made it for her just to get on my nerves because, according to her, I look pretty when I'm angry.
And even with all the things I'd learned about her, I was always eager to learn more things.
"So you're telling me you never even watched a Formula 1 race?"
