"Are you ready?" I looked at the door of my hotel room, finding Lando leaning against it as he smiled at me. "How do you keep getting in?" I asked with a laugh as Max joined us, along with Maria, "Again, how do you keep getting into my room?! This happens every time!" "You leave the door unlocked," Lando shrugged as I stood up, "And with your apartment, well, you shouldn't have given each of us a set of keys." I rolled my eyes letting Maria throw her arm around me, "It's for emergencies, Lando, not for when you just want to barge in at three in the morning and ask me to cook you food." "How many times has that happened?" Max asked as I locked my room and we made our way down. Maria laughed, "She texts me every time Lando does that, and, let's say that in just two weeks, it happened eight times." Lando rolled his eyes, "Is it my fault I miss you too much and need an excuse to see you?" I huffed, "Sarcasm does not suit you, Norris." Lando laughed, "One day you'll see I'm being anything but sarcastic." I huffed as Maria let me go, and Lando took her place in the blink of an eye, as we let Maria and Max walk ahead. "One day, they'll catch onto us, Norris." I said with a laugh, and Lando smiled at me. "I honestly can't wait for that day." He looked around, before pressing a kiss to my head, "Max is one of my best mates, keeping this hidden, especially from him is messing with me on stupid levels." I sighed, "I know, Maria has noticed I have someone and it's making me crazy not telling her." I looked at Lando before I smiled, "What do you say we tell them this weekend? We swear them to secrecy." Lando smiled, "I do like the idea of being able to actually flirt with you and be taken seriously by everyone around us." I chuckled as I noticed Maria and Max walking slower and glancing at us with knowing smiles, "Well, I do think they're onto us, so you're halfway there." Lando looked ahead of us, to find Max smirking. Lando smiled at me, and rose both his eyebrows, before kissing me, making me giggle against his lips, just as I heard Max and Maria celebrating. "I fucking knew it!" Max shouted when Lando and I let go of each other, "You bastards kept telling me I was seeing things, but I knew something was going on!" Maria shook her head, "I have known for a while, I was just trying to see how long you were going to try to hide it from us." I laughed at her, "And you didn't say anything? How long have you known?" Maria thought for a little, "I think it was in Imola when I noticed something was going on between you two." I blushed, sharing a look with Lando, "Yeah, I kind of went to wish him good luck and we sort of ended up making out." Max shook his head, "I'm letting this slide for now, but only because I'm excited about skiing." I nodded in agreement, "Yeah, let's get going!"
LANDO NORRIS'S POV
By far, Y/N was the most experienced skier out of the four of us, although we all knew our way around the slopes, but still we had bet that Y/N could not be faster to get to the bottom of the slope than all of us. If I had to take a guess, we'd be proven wrong very quickly. "Are you lot ready to eat my dust?" Y/N asked and I laughed, leaning down to peck her lips, before readjusting my mask. "Now I am." Maria groaned in annoyance, "I'll make a sappy jar for you idiots, every time you're all mushy and lovey-dovey in front of us it's ten pounds." "They'll go bankrupt in two days." We all pulled down our goggles, before Y/N turned to us with a serious expression, "Be careful, I don't want to have to take anyone to the hospital this weekend." We all nodded and told her to be careful herself, before she kicked off ahead of us, skillfully avoiding the obstacles. She used the fact that there weren't many obstacles in front of her, and turned to us, waving one of her hands at us. I waved back as I laughed at her childishness before I noticed someone moving right in front of Y/N as she looked ahead, and I knew she only had two options, either crash into that person or avoid the other person, but end up being the one hurt. "Y/N!" I shouted as she avoided the other skier, but her skis got caught in something and she fell down, hitting what seemed like a rock, not moving. "Y/N!" I sped up, getting to her fast, before I knelt beside her unmoving body as Max and Maria went to call for help. "Y/N, c'mon, it's me. It's Lando, I'm here, C'mon, wake up." She moved her hand, pulling her goggles up, her eyes going to me, and I smiled as I tried my best to block my tears. "Hey, love, I'm here, okay? Max and Maria went to get help. Don't move, okay?" Y/N hissed a little, her eyes drifting shut, "I'm okay Lando. Just help me up." I shook my head, "Stay lying down, I beg you Y/N." I reached for her hand, "Does anything hurt?" "Either nothing or everything at once." She whispered as her eyes drifted shut once more, "I'm okay, I swear." She squeezed my hand before her eyes closed, just as the paramedics arrived. I stayed completely frozen by her side as they strapped her to a gurney and put a mask on her face and did all sorts of things before moving her to the helicopter, with one of the paramedics informing us they would be taking her to the nearest hospital, saying one of us could go with her. I handed my ski equipment to Max and Maria, before moving to the helicopter, "Can I just get her keys from her trouser pockets so they can get her documents and her phone?" The para medic nodded and I immediately got her keys, passing them to Max as I sat down, "I'll text you guys once we're at the hospital."

Y/N was getting discharged today, and as she heard fully, she'd be staying at my house, as I was still on vacation. From the fall, she'd gotten a broken arm and leg, a few fractured ribs, and bruises. She was starting physiotherapy and in three more weeks, the doctors expected her to be as good as new. I entered her room, seeing her already dressed in some sweats and ready to get out of here. "Hey, how do you feel?" I asked, pecking her lips and she huffed. "Ready to get out of here and be back in my own bed." I gave her a look as I helped her sit on the wheelchair and handed her her bag, "You do realize you're going to be at my place until you're all better, right?" She huffed again as I pushed her out of the room, "And I told you I can manage at home. I don't need a babysitter, Lando. Besides, it's bad enough I ruined the trip we'd been planning for so long." I rolled my eyes, "You didn't ruin anything. Don't think of it as babysitting, think of it as a long sleepover at your boyfriend's house." Y/N sighed, "I just don't want to bother you this much. You have races and practices and a whole bunch of shit to do Lando." I frowned, "Babe, it's okay. I don't have much to do for the next weeks anyway, you're not impeding on anything. It's basically just media duty, and I spoke to my PR manager, and he and Oscar can manage without me for the time being. As for the driving part, Palou is stepping in for me. Andrea understood where I was coming from, and told me I have freedom of movement until you're all better. He knew I would be a shit driver if I went to the GPs while you had to stay home alone." Y/N sobbed lowly as we exited the hospital and I looked at her, "What's wrong? Does anything hurt?!" She shook her head, "I'm just really touched with you doing this for me." I let out a small chuckle as we reached my car, and crouched in front of her, "You know I love you, I just want to see you okay." "I love you too."
