"Come on Sylvia. You can do better than that."

Jin woo taunted Sylvia who had sweat cruising down her face.

With a sudden burst of energy, Sylvia lunged forward, her blade of pure mana crackling with energy, while it's edges glowed with a purple light. Jin woo calmly stepped aside, he extended his hand backwards were his shadow morphed into a long spear blacker than any void.

With a thrust, the spear blistered its way towards Sylvia its form no longer visible due to the speed it moved at. Sylvia's realmheart flared to life on her skin as the celestial runes arched out across her body.

Space began to distort and warp as she folded the space in front of her, causing Jin woo's strike to pass harmlessly through empty air. She reappeared from behind, bringing her blade down to his midsection.

"Clang"

Bringing the base of his spear to shield his back in an instant, as if the momentum from his previous attack hadn't even existed. Sylvia brought her sword down to contend with the force of the spear but it didn't budge despite the awkward angel it was held with. Swinging his arm backwards, Sylvia couldn't push back against the monstrous force and was sent crashing with a heavy thud, creating a crater twice the size of her.

"Tired already?"

Raining down his continues taunts, Sylvia bit the inside of her cheek as metallic taste filled her mouth. She racked her mind for possible outcomes but she couldn't see her self winning in any possibility. Her thoughts came to and end as her brows furrowed in confusion, his spear liquified like oil, placing his hands back in his pockets he looked down at her with an amused smirk.

"What's wrong giving up, Jin?" she was in no position to taunt, but she did it anyway.

"Oh, not at all I am afraid" he replied. Flicking his hands causing shadowy weapons of all kinds to manifest into existence. Not even giving her time to react he brought his hand down, causing the weapons to rain down on her at unfathomable speeds. Swords, spears ,daggers, axes, hammers and spikes all shot toward her.

[ Chronostasis ]

The particles and soft breeze released from the balconies came to a halt. The purple light and galaxy littered skies of the void lost their colour as the world came to a pause. This was an Aveum technique inherited from her father, which allowed her to freeze time.

The shadow weapons all froze along with Jin woo, but she knew this wouldn't last long. Infusing her aching legs with mana she shot out with enough force to destroy a house, speeding her way towards Jin woo, avoiding the range of the weapons. As she got closer his purple eyes traced her movements despite halting time, the aether functioning the technique quivered as the foundations of the technique cracked.

The aethric art shattered, a dagger already in his hand taking a swing at her.

Ethereal white wings sprouted from her back. An abundance of aether and mana packed to the brim in each feather, before exploding in a golden-purple shockwave that created the desired distance between the two of them.

As the ethereal white wings unfurled behind her, Sylvia channeled her energy into them, causing a golden and purple aura to emanate from the feathers. She focused her energy into the tips of her wings, causing concentrated beams of light to shoot out in a tsunami of of energy. Jin woo stood their hands in pockets not showing any sign of movement or urge to doge the attack, his jet black hair swaying side to side.

The concentrated strikes of energy, crash to the ground, leaving house sized craters in their wake. The intense energy emitted from the wings left a lingering trail in the air, almost as if the very fabric of reality had been warped by the attack.
