Me: well what do we do now?

Spinel: poof and bubble it again?

Me: no... It would only brake him... Let's just wait until the diamonds arrive.

Volleyball: good idea...

Spinel looked at me with an angry look

Spinel: your shirt's ugly.

Volleyball: well, I like it! It brings out your eyes!

Me: oh... Thanks... Not exactly what I want though...

I remember that the diamonds would surely mistake me for pink too so I put my glasses back on

It...didn't really help but it was a start

Spinel: why do humans even have those?

Me: well... Prepare to be annoyed!

I cleared my throat

Me: she's cool, she's strong, she's hot, she's got one of the best character developments in the whole universe, she saved the earth, she was a outstanding warrior, she was a cute little baby, she was funny, she was relatable, she was abused and still kept trying to make her family happy and....

I took a deep breath

Me: and why do you think that?

Spinel: she left me.

Me: well you were something like a toy to the gem's weren't you? That's the same concept as with humans. Your parents give you a toy with 6 and you love it, with 13 you're not playing with it anymore and soon you'll give it away or something. She was simply growing up

Spinel: yeah but couldn't she at least have brought me to homeworld?

Me: you would have been shattered. Entertaining pink. That's the reason you were made. When a gem can't fullfil her purpose the gem is shattered.

Spinel: well... Uh... She could have gotten me after the war!

Me: that wouldn't work with her identity and stuff. Also, she would have needed to go to homeworld to get you, leading to her being, most likely, shattered. How would it look for Amethyst and Garnet to have the one who defeated pink diamond risk everything for her playmate who she shouldn't even know about?

Spinel: well... huh... During the war?

Me: a Spinel in a war? Not to mention pink diamonds Spinel on the side of the enemies? Even if it would've succeeded, you would've been corrupted.

Spinel: well gee. Just let me hate her.

Me: only if you let me like her. Although I agree that she did some pretty bad things, that was the way she was raised. She didn't know any better. But she learned when she came to earth and that's beautiful

Spinel: STOP GIVING ME SECOND THOUGHTS!

I smiled successfully

Me: mission accomplished.

Jasper and volleyball looked at me with big smiles and tears on their faces

Volleyball: that was *sniff* the most beautiful thing I've heard about *sniff* her in eon's

Me: hey! You fought her in the war didn't you? Did she really have the boomerang blades?!
