Nancy was very intelligent and almost immediately understood the situation. She intentionally dropped the red packets she had taken. "Eh? Cousin-in-law, your red packets fell."

She then bent down and considerately picked them up, handing them over with a smile. "These are from the Jeon family's elders. Keep them with you carefully."

Lisa accepted them calmly. She watched Mingyu thoughtfully and realised that this bastard had reminded Nancy to cease her actions.

Furthermore, he had done so seamlessly, leaving her with no way to become upset.

She understood that the Jeon siblings weren't easy to deal with. Nonetheless, she had plenty of time to handle them.

Lisa opened the red packets on the spot unhappily. As expected, each contained a cheque worth six million dollars.

The cheques were signed by the different elders and it was clear which belonged to whom.

Lisa then took out the red packets which Nancy had stuffed into her pockets.

She opened them. "You secretly gave me red packets? You even gave me three at a go. There's twenty dollars in each one of them. Those who don't know may think you were trying to replace my red packets with these ones worth sixty dollars."

Nancy's smile stiffened. How could she possibly admit to it? "Miss Fang, you've misunderstood me. I only wished to give you some red packet because it's your first time visiting our family. It's an expression of my sincerity."

"Misunderstood?" Lisa harrumphed coldly. "Why would you give me three red packets then?"

"Yes..." Mingyu naturally spoke up for his sister. "It's like this. One of the red packets is from my sister, and the other two are from my mother and I. We asked her to hand them to you all at once."

"Yes, yes." Nancy rushed to agree with her brother. "I was worried you wouldn't accept it, so I placed them in your pocket secretly."

"Not bad, sixty dollars." Lisa directly threw the money at Mingyu's face. "I won't accept such a 'large' sum. Keep it for yourself."

Mingyu was hit directly in the face and his expression immediately turned poor.

"Is Miss Lee complaining that it's too little?" A hint of mocking flashed past Nancy's eyes. "Sincerity is more important than the gift itself. I didn't expect my future cousin-in-law to be such a superficial person."

"Hahaha." Lisa laughed. "Nancy, don't act as if you're on a higher moral standing." She narrowed her eyes lightly. "Are you expressing your sincerity through a light gift? You know better than anyone else that you were trying to replace my money with a mere sixty dollars. Do you think I would accept this excuse of yours? You're too shameless!"

Nancy's complexion turned pale. She explained in frustration. "I didn't touch your red packets. They fell when I tried to give you mine..."

"When you were committing a crime, your brother, Mingyu, noticed Butler Bai Mingde watching us and made you stop." Lisa did not waste her breath. "Butler Bai will report this incident to Grandfather. Who knows what sort of conclusion he will come to?"

Nancy's face became as white as a sheet of paper.

Lisa had nearly managed to show Nancy the consequences. If only she had truly managed to take the cheques.

She was similarly angry that Mingyu had interfered.

Lisa kept her red packets in her bag and left in anger while Mingyu and Nancy pretended to be strolling in the yard.

Nancy felt fearful. "Brother, thankfully you noticed Butler Jeon. Otherwise, I would be doomed."
