By the time we got back to the cabin, the sun began to set. I tried to ask him questions about his life, but he was only giving me one-worded answers or avoiding them. As we reach the porch, I saw a motorcycle parked next to the cabin. "Whose is this?"
"Mine."
"How'd you get it here?"
"This is my cabin actually."
"Oh, why'd you bring me here?"
"You sure do ask many questions."
"And you sure do avoid giving me a straight answer."
"I felt it was the safest place to go."
"I guess you're right then."
"About?"
"I do feel safe." With you.
We suddenly hear something outside. "Someone's out there!" I whispered.
